De La Hoya vs. Manny Pacquiao: The simple fact is that when the time comes for Oscar's farewell fight, he could face a miniature Peter McNeeley and it would still be a blockbuster.

Who would win if De La Hoya, left, and Manny Pacquiao met in the ring? Most likely, the fans.

But what if the guy in the other corner is Pacquiao and you're matching arguably the two most popular fighters in the world?

Add the intrigue of the size difference and the plotline of Freddie Roach, who was hired by De La Hoya in '07 and fired in '08, training against "The Golden Boy," and you have a farewell that would fare damned well at the box office.

Fighting Pacquiao in his final fight would certainly be less of a risk than fighting Cotto. I, for one, don't have any interest in seeing Pacquiao get slaughtered at 150 pounds.

Who don't want $20M+???? Last time I check, a former 130 lbs Title Holder fought DLH and DLH never got close of Slaughtering the Little Guy. That guy is not even considered in the Elite side of a Puncher and he Bruised DLH face to Golden red. By the way Pac is #2 P4P, In his Prime & P4P legend.

No man, there is a big size diference, one that would matter on the ring, that's why DLH is looking at this fight.
    5'11 165lbs to 5'7 145lbs (walking around wheights)

I rather watch a Circus than a Boring sparring session just like DLH's last 2 Paid Gigs.

In that same article, they also mentioned a Wlad vs. Vitali fight.

This will never happen. Weight difference is way too much. I fought once at MW and did some sparring with a green HW. His jab only felt like a brick. It got ugly for a little while, but I got the best of him only due to him being so green. Point, Oscar would finish him within five rounds if the fight at 150 or 147 if Oscar can still make the weight. He will fight Cotto in December. Win, lose, or draw with PBF.

Size difference doesn't guaranteed a no contest fight. PBF looks small agaist DLH. Did you see how Valuev lose a fight against guy half size of his???

DLH's old & shot. He's already slow & Hittable. Pac's in his Prime years & very fast. This will level out & will be competitive. But I won't be surprise if Pac dominates DLH just like he dominates MAB. A fight like this will brings the best of Pac.
