    I don't think he deserves it either, seeing how carefully he is being setup with missmatch after missmatch, but honestly, who else? Mayweather is too inactive and frankly too cocky, possibly Wlad Klitshcko but how long has it been since a heavyweight was top pound for pound...

    Ortiz fought four times in 2010...His lost against Maidana was 2 years ago, not to mention he had 1 draw after as well. Exact same thing happened with pac-hatton. When Barrera had won 8 fights (15, if not for a close controversial lost against morales) before losing to pac and then won another 6 after, he's consider the shot fighter :nono

    But to be fair, choosing Ortiz is Mayweather's next best options at welter.

    Whippin Ortiz makes no difference Paquaio is STILL #1 P4P & will always be unless Mayweather grows a set & gets in the ring with Pac & beats him legitimately. ROFL But we all know thats never gonna happen. What a terrible waste of incredible natural boxing talents Mayweather is. If only Mayweather had a set of champions cojones instead of those of a gnat then maybe he really could be P4P#1
