Cotto out sells Mosley against no named opponents as well. How many fans went to watch Mosley-Collazo? Mosley's been a name for years and can't get on PPV without another named fighter. He even fought on the undercard of Margarito-Cintron. Does that sound like he has a fanbase? Has Cotto ever fought under Margarito on a fight card? Mosley got around 20% of the purse in the Mayweather fight. Cotto got at least 30% on the Pacquiao fight. Why would Mosley get so much less? How come Cotto-Margarito was on PPV, but Margarito-Mosley was on regular HBO? Being American or a "legend" has nothing to do with being popular or having a good size fanbase.

Most thought Pacquiao-De La Hoya would sell close to Mayweather-De La Hoya. So what does that say?

    complete bull****

you dont know **** about boxing

no one thought that PAC vs HOYA would beat MAY vs HOYA cuz everyone was boycotting that fight cuz everyone thought that HOYA will kill PAC in 2 or 3 rounds.

MOSLEY has better PPV numbers then COTTO.

    its scientifcly proven

and he had 50/50 split with MARG and 50/50 split with COTTA

I am a trainer for the Chicago White Sox. I know my stuff when it comes to this. Anytime anyone refuses a blood test they are hiding something. Especially for that amount of money. No human being can go from 112 pounds to 147 pounds and actually gain knockout power at each division. He has to be taking something. I dont care for mayweather either but at least he wanted a blood test.

Cotto can't get a PPV without a dance partner either...which is why he and Shane are pretty much on the level with regards to their popularity in the US. Shane fighting on the undercard of Cintron-Margarito was after coming off of a loss. So he like Cotto had to fight their way back up.

Shane got 32% split with Floyd and Cotto got I think 35% with Manny. ANd we know that Floyd is a tad more greedy when it comes to his split.

Shane being a legend doesn't always have A LOT to do with your fan base but it just so happens that it does for Shane.

And NO ONE thought DLH vs PAC would do anythin close to the numbers of DLH vs Floyd. They ALL FELT that PAC was in a mis-match fight and the odds showed that. Just as the odds showed that most felt Shane was in a mis match with Floyd just this past saturday.

You don't recall seeing articles and threads bashing DLH for "picking on the lil guy"? DLH got a lot of HATE for making the fight with Manny and there was NO ONE giving him much of a shot to beat Oscar...including me.

i am around profesional athletes every day. I can look at anyone and tell you if he's taking something. Pac man is for sure. Its sad so many of our athletes are doing the same thing these days. And so are college and high school students. Theres only one way to clean it up and that would be blood testing.

You're completely full of ****. They don't even have all of the PPV #'s in yet. Once they release the official count everybody will see how full of **** this thread is.

Congrats!:good Manny didn't refuse to take the test. So now I understand why you have this warped perception of the situation. Manny agreed to the testing...unlimited radom urine testing and a set number of random Blood testing going out no further than 24 days before the fight.

You ever hear of a ROBERTO DURAN? He Knocked out a guy who was 168 who had a solid chin in IRAN BARKELY later in his career fighting FAAAAAR past his best weight class of light wieght.

Floyd wanted the blood tests b/c he was looking for a way out...and he got it. Or he was looking to make the promotion of their fight even bigger by delaying the fight.

Thank you. I don't know how many times I've said the same thing on this site.

Question: Do you feel Peavy will can turn it around? He was good in his last start.

Unfortunately at this level....as you know! Being a professional trainer and all, there aren't ANY tests out there today that is 100% proven to catch a person who is doping. Including USADA's or WADA's testing measures.

Which is why most didn't buy into Floyd's demands for testing for one particular fighter in Manny. If a fighter or athlete has the resources to get the best PED's or roids they also have the resources to mask them. And Floyd has the same resources.

There are so many loop holes in the testing today...blood or urine that no one can say that even with Floyd and Shane passing all the test that they are NOT dirty. They could be still.

Blood testing has to be done with in five days of a competion or else it is useless. There are so many masking agents that a athlete could take, especially with 24 days. Thats just too long. And of course ive heard of duran haha. But he didn't carry that power up besides that fight. He was useless against Hearns and his overall ko percentage went way down compared to pac mans who has gone way up.

When was Mosley ever an A-side of a PPV? Why was Cotto-Margarito on PPV, but Mosley-Margarito on HBO? Morales was coming off of a loss when he fought Pacquaio the second time in the main event right? Judah was too? Did De La Hoya ever fight on an undercard PPV after coming off of a loss? How about Tyson?

It was already reported that Mosley got 7 million while Mayweather got 22.5 million. That's about 23%.

I remember articles saying Pacquiao-De La Hoya would do close to those numbers.

I remember you from the other conversation we had where you came off as immature and you were obviously playing dumb so I won't follow along this time. I'm honestly not trying to be disrespectful when I say that, but you were being child like and ignoring my points and I'm not doing that with you again.
