Very good numbers considering how bad Mosley is as a ppv star and Pac is NOT an American or Mexican.

From here on out, Pac should be getting higher numbers and progress along. Marquez III should get about 1.5-1.7. Obviously Mayweather would do well over 2.1 mil.

I think a Bradley fight would definitely sell more than Marquez. He's undefeated. People would pay to see this fight.

The pacman vs Mosley fight was a farce and it got to much BAD ink. I can't defend it and won't. I can't even argue with mma guys about this fight.

you got to realize america is still in a recession with falling home prices and high gas prices, a lot of people can't afford a 65 dollar ppv, so most just go to a bar or restaurant to watch it.

There is simply NOTHING in Shane's previous 2 performances to base that statement on. NOTHING.

 

I know a few people who never watch boxing but watched this fight. So numbers could be right. It was a well known american fighter. The casual fan doesn't know he was over the hill.

It didnt make boxing look good for the casual fan. They will probably think if this is the most exciting fighter in the sport it can't be too good.

 

Showtime did a wonderful job of promoting a fight with an old african american fighter.

They'll definitely promote Timothy Bradley if he's still undefeated and if he ever fights Pacquiao.

and Bradley would definitely smash records if he ever fought Pac.

Floyd was a skilled fighter and PAC put more of hurt on Shane than Floyd!:rofl And Shane was actually FIGHTING Floyd, which mean Floyd didn't have to play "hide & Seek" with him like PAC did.

The boxing world saw one guy looking to fight and the other looking to survive. Real talk. They large majority have expressed their opinions about SHANE running than PAC's overall performance. It's hard to look good against someone who is running.
