Pacquiao draws career-best PPV numbers

The numbers are respectable. I think they should have done more based on CBS being involved. But the ODDS made the numbers what they are in my opinion...and the fact it wasn't an HBO PPV. Having odds as one sided as this one only hurts the overall PPV numbers, but it does prove that PAC is a top Draw. Even when Floyd vs JMM did great numbers I was really surprised b/c those odds were alomst as bad as PAC vs Shane.

 

What kind of money did Pac get for this fight?

Mayweather was paying at 1/4 (-400) against Marquez

Pacquiao was paying at like 1/10 (-1000) against Mosley.

I don't know where you got your odds, but they are off cause it was not comparable.

they had ESPN Sports Center, Around the Horn, Pardon the Interuption, etc all talkin' up this fight....something I don't recall on that type of scale since PBF vs ODH.

Fox Sports channels had commercials for the bout like crazy, not to mention CBS having some during sports shows.

Then there was 360......

AND all of them only showed Shane's footage from the Margarito fight, making folks that remember his name think he's still the beast.:yep

 

I want to see Pac Vs. Void, but Void is too busy running and beating up women!

oh great.... so out of those 1.4 million I'm guessing we lost at least a few hundred thousand casual fans for good as a result of that bull**** fight.

 

This is a good output considering the bad perception and reception towards this fight.

dude, Shane was -900 at the books...

it was ridiculous.

-900...for a ppv fight. that in itself should have shown you what the odds were for Shane getting the win.

 

Can't be any worse than when 2.4 million got shafted in the DLH/Floyd let down.

 

Oh ****...I didnt see you complaining for PBF-ODLH (2.4mil one of the most boring fights of the year), PBF-Mosley (yes it was a 1 sided boring affair where even less punches were landed), PBF-Baldomir...wtf, PBF-JMM...yes what a very exciting affair. Please....as a *****, you should be the last to complain about loosing fans because of big fights that turn out to be a snorefest.

The whole world knows Pac is the real deal, as advertised, they know 1 guy ran all night and made it a boring fight.

 

What do you think the odds will come out at with Pac-JMM?

I'm guessing about 4/1. They will only need to highlight how close their 2 fights were on the upcoming shows to close the gap.
