C'mon man. There are a whole lot of "CAN'T DO'S" in Pacquiao's style and execution. But they were never "exposed" when fighting the Ultra-talented:rofl:rofl:rofl fighters like Hatton, Clottey and Margarito. I, just like any other fight fan has NO probelm with giving props to JMM, but Ya' boy is an extremely limited fighter...PERIOD!
I think he was somewhat exposed Ringnut. Pacquiao got beat by a great fighter in Marquez, but this version of Marquez is far from his best days. Marquez was slower tonight than he had been in his previous fights with Pacquiao. .......it was Marquez experience, his witt, guile, desire that controlled Pacquiao. The better versions of Marquez were in the first two fights. .......a master like Marquez however, learns from the previous encounters and works within the framework of his current ability. The previous encounters Marquez was more liberal with his combinations, throwing past 3 and 4 punch combinaitons. He reduced his combination output tonight to two's and three's and put a little more mustard on his shots that had Pacquiao being afraid to get hit. I've been preaching this for years. Pacquiao for as much as he's technically improved, cannot match witts with a technical master the caliber of Marquez. Roach and Ariza have been put to shame in how they want to credit Pacquiao for the extent of his improvements. Those improvements are only magnified against fighters that dont have a high skill level to begin with. .....put Pacquiao up against a true master boxer and he's really a confused fighter. Its the truth and its really that simple.
i disagree. jmm looked great against katsidis sans the knockdown which he recuperated well. jmm-ramos was not even a TR production if i can recall. it was marquez' own promotion. jmm-floyd could not be compared to pac-jmm fight since they are not even the same sized fighter. furthermore, jmm the counter-puncher was the aggressor against floyd while against pacquiao, he stayed with his plan and played the counter-puncher which is what he does best. marquez was still on top of his game even before this fight.
Marquez was ultra offensive against Katsidis because he can afford to be so agaisnt a limited fighter like Kats. When people mentioned Marquez getting dropped by Kats and because of it Pac would obliterate Marquez. I mean really, think about it.......do you all really thought Marquez would approach Pacquiao the same way he did Kats????? Lets be real here, if Marquez were to take the fight to Pac like he did Kats, Marquez would have wound up like Cotto, Margarito, DLH, and all the rest. Great fighters know who they're fighting and adjust accordingly.
True boxing fans, already saw the holes in PAC's game. Why do you think he fought JMM 3 times because he failed to defeat the most technical fighter he has ever faced. Not that PAC is more refined as a fighter, it was easier for JMM.
well marquez knew that pac would be coming-in. he also knew that floyd won't be as aggressive so he was forced to take the aggressor's role. this is why, stylistically, marquez has that advantage over pac. i actually agve jmm a big chance for this fight and the only thing that i'm concern is if pac's power at WW would be enough to to tip the balance to pacquiao. jmm obviously did well and actually avoided to get staggered this time. the drawback is that he did not produce the same electrifying offense he have shown in the 2nd fight. it was a purely ches match.
Bullsh!t.. Mosley ran all night after tasting canvas and refused to engage. If you call that a great game plan, you're ****!ing moron..
atschWhat the hell did Pacquiao do? While Marquez consistently landed 2 and 3 punch hard combinations, Pacquiao was relugated to arm punching. Pacquiao could'nt find Marquez with any real shots that had leverage. Virtually every clean hard shot that was landed tonight was landed by Marquez and yet you want to penalize him because he did'nt land as many as he did in the first two encounters.lol: Pacquiao my friend landed next to nothing that was really effective to make Marquez even have to make any real adjustments in this fight. Usually when Pacquiao starts to land, Marquez has to tweak his approach and make the adjustment. No adjustment was required in this fight, Pacquiao was completely and utterly clueless as to how to go about stopping Marquez' lateral movement to his left.:deal
