well i agree that marquez landed the cleaner shots especially on the middle rounds. pac cannot do what he wants to do and that was to hurt marquez but he did landed those right hands much often on this fight where it was completely neutralized in the 2nd fight.

i was not penalizing marquez, i was merely pointing out that marquez did not commit to being as aggressive as the first two fights and that lead to the judges giving those close rounds to pacquiao. remember that clear rounds and close rounds are scored basically the same.

Styles make a fight. Marquez`s style is wrong for Pac`s.

I just watched the fight. Wow, that was really boring. Both fighters were too cagey.

JMM looked to be too wary of Pacquiao's power and too defensive as a result. Pacquiao looked to be too wary of JMM's counter punching ability and didn't throw as many punches as he usually does.

I don't see why there's a furore over the result, I had Pacquiao winning by two rounds. He was the more aggressive of the two and did more work. Neither landed any big, meaningful punches. Pacquiao threw a lot more combinations while JMM was mainly looking for counter pot-shots.

It was one of those close fights where the commentary and atmosphere can sway your opinion. I imagine the majority of those on Twitter furious about the result watched one of the many PrimeTime streams available last night, who had it for JMM. HBO, of whom there were far less streams available, had it for Pacquiao. I watched a replay with the sound turned off and no scoring from the commentators/ringside analysts shown on screen

chill-out ******. i was not claiming i scored anything yet.

i was merely pointing out how the judges could have seen this fight for pacquiao. most of the rounds are close and if judges would favor aggressiveness for those rounds.

It was a close fight. All the more validated was the saying, "styles make fights."

That's just your impression but when you judge the fight objectively. You'll see that most of the punches by Marquez were blocked by Pac's arms. Marquez may have landed some clear shots but Pac landed more in most of the rounds.
Marquez did not anything special except to avoid getting knocked down.

but older floyd is trying to wait out pac until he gets old....but age has nothing to do with it, and since this is mexican jmm, you can't throw the ring age nonsense into it as he has brawled more than his skill set requires

He got beat by a guy that looked like an amateur against Mayweather, losing every round.

Mayweather should now get full credit for the Marquez schooling and it looks better than any victory from Pacquiao since Barrera.

Pac man is a good little fighter...however now I'm convinced if you can go the distance with him you have a great chance of winning...and anyone with a just above average skill level has a great chance....basic adjustments make this man suffer....

Now I'm convinced....Marquez skillwise is at the top...just behind Mayweather....and Bradley is nowhere near as skilled as Marquez....but he is skilled & can make mid-round adjustments....Bradley is young and very athletic also...

    Mayweather will beat Pac Man
Bradley is now an interesting fight...due to his skill, athletism and youth...
Bradley may give Pac Man hell.....
