So from here on out, with many people saying that Mosley "exposed" Pacquiao with lateral movement (I think he ran but **** it w/e), is this whole "movement" going to be the new "blueprint" to defeat Pacquiao?

If so, I am sad for the future of Pacquiao fights, especially if he doesn't learn to cut off the ring.

Wasn't the JMM fight supposed to be the blueprint? How is a guy who was completely shutout and his face beaten up and swollen supposed to be the blueprint to beat Manny? People need to lay off the hyperbole a bit and go watch the fight again. Shane got his ass kicked, and all he did was run for 12 rounds. You could do that to anybody and make the fight look ugly.

So you think maybe Floyd could use Mosley's blueprint if he ever steps up to the plate ?:yep

Well there's new evidence in solving the Pacquiao problem, why not use it? It's at least little more up to date than the JMM fight.

Why could this be the blueprint when Mosley did not even hurt Pacquiao. He failed to use his vaunted right nor left counterpunch. What a stupid thread!

everytime pacquiao gets hit by a punch he gets exposed
everytime he breaks a sweat exposed
everytime he runs over another guy he was never supposed to fight he gets exposed

    etc etc

well I think its rather obvious you dont want to stand and trade with pacquiao, that's no secret. But just running, and turning all night isn't going to win you the fight. Pacquiao isn't dumb either, he was catching shane with hooks when he kept trying to do that (See my avatar). But if you want the blueprint to beat Manny, the JMM formula is the closest thing, but that fight happened a while ago.

The thing that you should solve is the power of Pacman to intimidate even the bigger and stronger fighter like Mosley.

"Lateral movement" and "Mosley" in the same sentence? All Mosley did was run and didn't want to engage. If you want to call that a "blueprint", all power to you.

the bottom line is theres no blueprint to beat manny today bc as nazim richardson said : "no one has been able to solve the pac puzzle" (not since he moved up in weight anyway). Movement is a good asset to have against him, but you gotta be prepared to fend off the onslaught , the reason mexican fighters like Morales and Marquez had success is because they were very tough as well as being technically sound. But you cant just rely on one gameplan and expect to beat today's version of Pacquiao, he's too unpredictable and explosive with his offense, and he can hurt you at any moment. You have to have the heart and toughness to weather a lot of storms , and u have to be able to keep up with him at every moment of every round.
