Pacquiao fans: will you be rooting for Cotto?

    I will. I can't ****ing believe they picked Cotto. COTTO! It's like throwing salt on my wound. Its bad enough that these ****ing idiots, these disgraces to boxing can't put one of the most clamored for sporting events of all time together, but the Team Pac goes and picks...****ing Cotto? I just don't understand! I don't get it. The least they could have done is pick a fresh guy, Bradley, or a guy coming off a huge win in Peterson, but Cotto? I swear, I'm almost in tears now. I really think I'm done with Pacquiao. People give him a pass because of his humility, but he is not innocent in all this. He could have made the FMJ happen, and he could have made the Cotto fight NOT happen...

    ...I know how rumors are. I realize there is a chance there won't be Cotto-Pacquiao II, but its not looking good. I think we should all boycott this fight, or at the very least root for Cotto. **** it. I can't even...I don't even now what to say I'm so hurt by all of this...:-(

    The Cotto rematch probably brings the most money in other than a fight with PBF. If there is any hope at getting this fight made at 50/50 in November, Arum needs to produce more or similar PPV numbers than Floyd's May 5th fight.

    I would much rather prefer to see Pac vs Bradley, but that will most likely happen in November should Mayweather continue to be unwilling to fight Pac. But Pac vs Cotto was a firefight for the first 6 rounds, some of the most action in a mega fight we've seen. A rematch during the Puerto Rican holiday weekend would be pretty lucrative.

    The only good that could come of this fight would be Pac getting knocked out, I hope he atleast gets booed on the way to the ring, and at the weigh in.

    I could understand if he wanted to fight Marquez again, that was a close fight. The first Cotto fight was anything but.

    I am disappointed with Pac fighting Cotto! I wanted to see Pac fight Bradley if he couldn't get Floyd! No way in hell am I rooting for Cotto. I'll still root for Pac to KO Cotto.

    Barrera X2, Morales X3, Marquez X3, Cotto X2

    The fights with Marquez and the first re-match with Morales were necessary. As is the fourth Marquez fight which is likely not happening. Morales III while Morales is riding a two fight losing streak, and three of four, proved absolutely nothing. Cotto II might have some luster if it were at the full junior middleweight.
