I've been watching boxing most of my life. I started with watching Tyson when I was young, and then I would have moved onto the more local boxers or UK boxers. I watched Mayweather Vs Hatton, one of my first PPVs in years, and really liked it. This led me to watch the next big one, Pacquiao and De La Hoya, and I was really impressed by Pacquiao. I would have remained neutral, but then I watched Pacquiao destroy Hatton and beating Cotto, and he became my favourite fighter around. Mayweather to me always seemed to pick boring and easy fights for himself, so I couldnt like him as much.

Yeah I always wanted to see that fight. Back in the days, some seemed to believe Dariusz was a legitimate threat for RJJ, or perhaps it was only the german media.

I didn´t like AA behavior after the Dirrel fight, so he got to win me back:lol:
No seriously I lost a little bit respect for him, but I´m looking to his fight with Froch.
    They are both bad ass

First time I could remember was a tyson bout... Cant remember much bexause I was probably 5-6 at that time.

I couldnt play my video games because all my uncles and my dad grabs our first colored tv. So I had just to go out on a hot afternoon outside with all my friends.

I still could remember watching onyok velasco and all my relatives were shouting why he didnt got the points whenever he hits his opponents.

    For you OP

Just go **** off somewhere else.

I think alot of Pac's detractors are probably young hip-hop fans who aren't really into boxing but like 50 cent and that whole culture.

Most of the *******s only started watching boxing around the Oscar fight. Before then I seriously doubt they even knew the sport existed and after Pac retires they will be through with the sport.

my dad always told me stories about Ali and the Thrilla in Manila and Rumble in the jungle so that's what first got me interested in the sport. I wasn't able to watch much of the fights outside the Philippines though because we didn't have cable yet so I only got to watch the real big fights, I vaguely remember watching an SRL fight when I was small, in hindsight it was probably the Hagler fight since it was big enough to be broad casted in the local channels. I remember I cheered for SRL because I found his flashy style really cool (I was probably just 6 at the time so gimme a break )

Tyson though was the fighter that really got my interest, but I only got to watch the post prison Tyson though. I think I saw the Mathis fight and watched most of his fights up to the Lewis fight. Sad really that I never got to watch prime Iron mike live.

I mostly just followed the local scene though since like I said, we only get the biggest fights on tv (so I only got to watch the Heavyweights, RJJ and the ODLH fights, since they were the big stars) but I did follow Espinosa and Penalosa. But it was really Pac that got me to turn into a real serious boxing fan ever since I saw the Ledwaba fight. I made sure I watched all of his fights (I think I only missed the Sanchez fight). it was while I started researching on Pac's possible opponents that I really got into the history of the sport and started looking up the other fighters past and present.

So to answer, casually I started following the sport during the mid 90's. I started to seriously follow the sport around 2001, which started with Pac's fight with Ledwaba.

Some of them have probably started watching boxing recently just like many *****s have the difference is that the Pac fans dont act like they are boxing experts like the *****s who act like they have seen every fighter and every style in boxing history but all they know is what they see on boxrec and what Floyd tells them to say.

As with me and PPV boxing, I imagine they started with Mayweather Vs Hatton beforehand as it was the biggest fight in quite a few years (although I was watching smaller boxing long time before that).

SMH at *******s and *****s...I mean.....those absolutley suck lol.

Is a boxing Boxing crazy country even before Pac. I watched SRL, Duran, Hearns, Ali, Holmes, Cooney, Tyson, Holyfield, Hamed. Espinosa, Navarette. Mostly heavyweights and the famous welters because those are the fights that gets worldwide exposure and on free TV.

Anyone remember Adrian Stone, who reminds me a lot of Cotto, who looks like cotto, fights like Cotto?
