Majority of Pac fans are Filipinos. Boxing is a very popular sport in the Philippines with some boxing shows being televised on prime time TV. I think next to Basketball, it is the second most popular sport in the country. Just because most Filipino boxing fans only became more active on the internet after Pac became popular does not mean that they weren't following boxing before. The Philippine government back then would not have spent millions to bring Ali and Frazier to Manila if Filipinos aren't that crazy about boxing.
Offend? unlike most of the children here I don't tend to get worked up over idiots posting stuff like that on the internet. I just find it humorous you spew your idiotic opinion of Floyd fans and think you're better than those who spew the same type of idiotic things about Pacquiao fans. You go to many boxing events? You speak like that of Floyd fans in public when they're around and close enough to hear? I'm doubting it. But continue to talk your **** on the internet about how Floyds fans are on welfare!
About 8 years, boxed for about 7 years on and off. Got into it after watching fab 4 dvd, after that I found a boxing torrent site to which I downloaded hundreds of fights from.
started round 88-89 when Tyson was champ and Sugar Ray was slowing down, I was 4 years old.....after Jones broke Virgil Hills ribs and was doing all those crazy moves I was hooked....never seen an athete in the boxing ring as gifted before or since Jones
I watched Dodie Boy Penalosa vs Chang Ho Choi (first fight watched on live on tv) , watched the Luisito Espinosa fights during his prime. I watched Filipino boxers primarily but also followed Tyson's career + the heavy weight scene after that. I know Leonard, Hagler, and Hearns at that time but haven't watched their fights live. Watched DLH for the first time vs JCC (live via sat).
somebody here watching boxing for quite some time already and gained vast knowledge about the sport. but how come he got 96 in his V CASH ? :rofl:rofl
******ed thread. if this fight didn't make any interest among pinoys, something is wrong. This content is protected LOL
been introduced to boxing by my dad during the 80's... but since basketball was my sport i was never really in to it. My interest as a fan started during the holyfield/bowe/lewis era... of course roy jones jr. was the **** back then i rarely miss his fights when it's on TV.
