Manny could complain all he wants. He’s earned that right. The Horn fight could have gone either way and it’s a common occurrence for fighters to wholeheartedly think they won a fight that close especially when the whole world is saying you got robbed. I’m not surprised Manny is insulted about fighting on the undercard of the man he believed he beat, especially when his legend and stardom will be doing most of the selling for the card.

PBC is barely putting out any cards on "free TV". They have 0 scheduled at the moment(had 1 card on FOX in 2018). And everything else is on SHO.

Also, people need to stop drinking the Floyd Kool-Aid. Just because he incessantly spewed garbage about being his own boss doesn't necessarily make it so. His relationship w/ Al is no different than his relationship w/ Arum. It's just that you have one guy (Arum) who loves being in the public eye and another guy (Haymon) who is more than happy to not be involved publicly. Al is shrewd businessman and you're dumb as hell if you don't think he made sure to make as much money off of Floyd as much as Arum has made off of Pac.

Why, he beat horn easily. I’d favor pac over thurman, garcia, or Mattysse. Nobody is beating Spence or Crawford but outside of them manny is competitive with anybody.

What is common between them and germane to my point is that pridefully clinging to your former glory is a universality among sportsmen with diva-like attitudes. There are those who are willing to, when down on their luck and removed from their last ringing success, accept reduced shares of the limelight until such time as they earn back the bigger stage.

Pac can feel he beat Horn all he wants. The verdict went against him. Officially he's coming off a loss and has no title. Why on earth he would expect to be headlining in that condition is beyond all logic except him playing the "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?!?!" card, which I think should be for someone of his stature a graceless act that is beneath him.

 

Danny and Broner both ducked Pac for 4 million dollar pay days... and instead fought Thurman and Garcia (Mikey) for much, much less money.

 

As would Floyd but there is nothing left for Pacquiao to achieve. He can't beat the very best in the division so his fighting for what? Retirement fund?

Good! Pac, although way past it, should not be used to Co main event a PPV. He is being used as a stepping stone for Crawford to boost his numbers. If Crawford is really a draw then he doesn't need Pac's help.

On another note, Pac should just call it a day. Or headline vs Matthysse on free TV as a farewell fight. Like Cotto did.
