Well then what makes a fighter deserve to headline a card? Should the best fighter headline the card? Crawford right now is a better fighter than a 39 year old Pac. Or should the biggest star headline the card? Pacquiao is still a bigger draw than Crawford.

So what gives? You can't have it both ways. You bring up Pac's eroding abilities, but he still is the main draw. People tune in because Pac is there.

It's why people still watch Roy Jones Jr. getting knocked out at like 50 years old? Why do they do it? Well because it's Roy Jones Jr., FFS.

 

Well yes dude. Pacquiao is special. How many 8 division titlists do you know of? Pacquiao is not a regular champion or fighter. He's operating on a different playing field than everybody else. That what happens when you do the things he did.

 

You use the same rhetoric as the demo gais and the same excuses.

 

It really isn't.

 

Just call it a Co-Main event, maybe he'll come back. If it was set up and on paper for the fight (for weeks now), it's kind of a dick move by Pac though. Also, Horn beat him 7 rounds to 5 in my book. 8-4 arguably.

 

Well I wonder whether paq still not being able to accept he lost to Horn shows a narcissistic streak in him. Going into the fight Freddie and Paq were as arrogant as hell.

I bet the fight was not even paying him anywhere near what Horn paid him, so maybe deminishing fight purses are also part of the 'insult'.

I don't think we will see paq in too many quality fights anymore. I suspect when his money runs out soon he will be the next RJJ of just fighting bums for beer money.

 

I don't blame Pac, he was badly cheated in the Horn fight, Arum is a corrupt person, he is old, he can't take all that money with him..................he does not need to cheat his fighters..........................Horn is just a set up for Crawford to look good against as Horn can't fight at all, but he has a really good headbutt.............
