that's the worst thing in the philippines. promoters feed young guns against lions. just like when he was fed to sasakul

A few things - just like in Mexico, guys go pro pretty much right away to make money because they need it. The early career IS their amatuer career.

Pac probably was a little bit inexperienced for Sasakul but he was also extremely weight drained, being stripped beforehand for failing to make weight, I believe. Back then if Pac felt good he ripped your head off in a round or two, and had no boxing skills to fall back on, just his improving strength. Fooling around with Yeshmanbigtov he got dropped, and Hussein dropped him as well, and he was even buzzed by Oscar Larios in a fight I think he took as a tune up between superstars. Pac has an "a game" that is no joke, but in some of his early fights it is hard to believe he has become what he is today. He needed direction and he got it, but his early fights do not show the polish of Floyd's, Oscar's, Tyson's, Morales', or even Gamboa's early career, because those guys had some amatuer career (OK, not too much for tyson, but enough coupled with a great trainer)

correction though, he was stripped at the scales vs singsurat. Sasakul was the champ when he fought him
