Yeah. It's dangerous too. A dehydrated, older fighter whose body composition dictates that he should be moving up in weight comes down to face a much, much smaller power puncher. They could both be in danger. But it IS intrigueing to me.
All about the $$$$$ signs i'm afraid. dont know really why this is considering how much especially DLH, but including Pac must have. would much prefer to see Pac take on Marquez, dont even think DLH deserves a shot at Margarito after only a laboured victory over Stevie Forbes.
i agree that pacquiao must be fighting marquez again soon but people should not make it out to be that pacquiao is ducking jmm because he is fighting hoya. first of all, this exhibition fight was settled weeks before the jmm-casa fight. and pacquiao would not wait for jmm to beat or not beat casa. it is just now that a third fight seems appropriate because of jmm's clear-cut demolition of casa and marquez has the lineal belt to stake against. i would actually support the idea of pacquiao bypassing hatton (even if he wins against malignaggi) just to fight marquez a third time. for me, it seems beating the concensus 2nd best fighter in the world is more of an accomplishment than having a 6th championship in six different weight class.
i certainly not meaning to sound as if Pac is ducking Marquez, if he beats DLH his legacy would be incredible, i put the blame more on DLH, he's just greedy for money imo.
its actually not intended to you but for anybody who feels that pac is running from the real challenges at 135. i too was a bit disappointed that pac is cashing-out with this hoya fight but i understand that pac just grabbed the opportunity presented to him which he would not get even by fighting the campbells and the marquez several times over. it sucks for me that pac is not joining the big party at 135.
Apparently that is the way De La Hoya wants it now....he wants an easy exit. I hope Manny kicks his ASS!!!
