Think about it good sir, it all adds up:

    1) Pernell dominated when he moved up in weight class.

    2) He was just too damn fast

    3) He never took Olympic style testing as a professional, and we all know how worthless state commission tests are. His opponents simply made a tactical error in not requesting it.

    4) I gave a homeless gentlemen $2 once on my way to a fight, and when the topic of boxing came up, he swore to me that Pernell was on Performance Enhancing Drugs. Being that this happened before that term became popular, I asked him more about it and was thoroughly enlightened and convinced by his response.

Now, following the current precedent being formed in the Pac-Mayweather negotiations, I am thoroughly convinced that Pernell Whitaker was on some kind of steroid/hormone because it can't be disproven AND I've got an eyewitness account from someone who knows what they're talking about.

Appropriately, his All-time ranking has dropped with me to just below Guts Ishimatsu, because Guts is the superior name.

I feel you. All that added power he accumulated on the way up and his blatant refusal to take drug tests when requested definitely puts him on the hot seat. I may need to rethink his ranking myself.:think

I blame Rocky Marciano for this. His plane crash was in actuality a hoax perpetrated so the Government could kidnap him, isolate certain substances in his body which required his demise, and use that to create the first substances for superior pound for pound strength enhancement, coined "Steroids". Test that out on Olympic athletes, and the rest is history.

The timeline adds up perfectly. I should've given that guy a $10 when I had the chance to.
