A losing fighter either was cheated or not on top of his game when it happened, just ask any fan of his.

And this truism applies to any fighter. Even sensible fans are guilty of this, only the degree varies.

I do believe that if these 3 greats composed of MAB, EM and JMM (he's still very much in the loop) were to mix it up with the rest of the 130lbs NOW, these 3 will still end up legitimately occupying a slot in the top 10 of the 130lbs division's rankings. And much without surprise, hold legitimate wins with the division contenders and probably some other elite fighters within the "one division up or down" range(126-135lbs). What does this say?

Let's not underrate the greatness of these fighters. Just as we shouldn't degrade/downplay them in their respective fights with pacquiao, just to provide a convenient alibi for their losses and ultimately, discredit the accomplishments of pacquiao.

Strange way to make an analysis out of the many discussions that have ensued, but this is what's likely been playing in the minds of the non-pac/em/mab/jmm and non-pinoy/mexican fans, In My own Opinion.

This is my own personal observation...

i hope you won't hate me on this.:deal

so what makes Mayweather p4p? He fought old fighters well pass their primes and you guys put him p4p? Pacquiao defeating Morales, Barrera, Marquez are far more prime opponents than any of Mayweather's opponents. Mayweather has yet to face Cotto, the strongest opponent. Mayweather is not fighting enough either to keep the p4p.

    Pacquiao earn his p4p reputation.

Marquez is fighting much better now than before. He beat Barrera recently. Pacquiao got the very best of Marquez.

I would like to watch Pacquio beat a great fighter in his prime.
Pacquiao was very lucky to get a draw and a win against Marquez. I personally had 113-112 and 115-112 for Marquez.
    Im' not american or mexican.
By the way, Freitas would KO Pacquiao at 130.

Just curious on the current fighters who has beaten a great fighter in his prime. Examples?

For Floyd, whose great fighter at his prime has he beaten? How about Cotto? Calzaghe? JMM? MAB?

And please, Pac was lucky to have that draw in the first fight? I thought JMM got the nod there when one judge admitted his error.

As for Freitas beating Pacquaio, I might agree on that but I will favor Pac to make him quit..:yep :good

Pac has defeated many good opponents.. JMM, Barrera who was coming off good wins, and morales who pac defeated twice by ko.. pac's resume looks a whole lot better than pbf.. id say pac has earned his p4p reputation, but not pbf.. but pac is moving up and there are a whole lot of other fighters pac will be fighting.. wont be just mab, morales, and jmm on his win list

Pacquiao was not afraid to have rematches with Morales, Barrera, Marquez. Pacquiao was able to remove any doubts that he was the very best among that group.

Pacquiao wants to have a rematch fight with Marquez.

Exception to Castillo fight, which Castillo should have won the first fight, Mayweather has yet to be involve in any back to back fights or trilogy fights. Zab Judah, Carlos Baldomir should have had a rematch fight.
