Pacs been getting his face and ear ruined in the process whilst pbf hasn't had a scratch on him.....

basic principal attacking (arguably more exciting) fighter leaves himself open whilst always going for the kill. This doesn't means he's superior..... a victory's a victory!!

Don't agree that Pac ruined Marquez. Both fights were competitive and he went on to KO Casamayor and Diaz.

  4. Old Casamayor and overrated Diaz. I'm not even being cynical this time.

Cotto KOed Michael Jennings after losing to Margarito. That is a similar accomplishment.

Pacquiao, on the other hand, was KOed again after being ruined by Torrecampo.

Exactly how i see it, most people forget those circumstances, such as floyd coming up from super feather, and yeah marquez was the only true smaller man he has fought, but realistically even if they had met when floyd was at 130, the outcome would still be the same, except floyd let his hands go more then, but could you see marquez being able to counterpunch and outbox floyd , haha no!

I still don't think he was ruined. Won his next two fights then lost at a weight he had no business being at. I'll get back to you after his next couple of fights wether or not he was truly ruined.

I'm not even going to address the Pacquiao comment.

I couldn't say that after the analysis I posted on Pac's last opponents.

  8. I don't think he was ruined either. But neither was Cotto by Margarito nor Hatton by Mayweather. Obviously I don't think Pacquiao was ruined by Torrecampo. Sugar Ray Robinson was not ruined by Jake LaMotta, either.

I'm just applying the same "ruined by" logic you did to demonstrate how ridiculous it is.

I was overstating when I said Hatton was ruined by Mayweather - I don't believe that either.

But, Cotto very well could have been ruined by Margo. That type of beating messes boxers up.

How the **** was both Cotto and Hatton already ruined.

(Please Explain ) as a racist politician once said.

Were my eyes deceiving me or did Hatton beat the **** out of Paulie M just before Pacman. The same Paulie M that IMO outclassed the talented Juan Diaz.

As for Cotto how the hell do people get off saying he is ruined he beat Jennings i thought by murder.

And were still waiting for him to fight.

I agree that Hatton had a bad night with Lazcano but he was'nt he making the transition to Mayweather Sr.

He looked awesome against Paulie M.

    And Pacman killed him.

    Big Tone what up!

You know Pac doesn't hold a candle to Mayweather. That is why he is out in the media doing the CYA because he knows he is fighting Margarito next.

Read the post before yours, I already addressed the Hatton being ruined part.

I also said Cotto may have been ruined, we will see how he does against foreman. Beatings like the one he took do effect boxers.

Do you have any understanding of time lines? :nut

This is they type of random ignorant post that makes you hate Pac fans. This fool just deleted Margarito's destruction and Clottey's domination of Cotto from history.

He didn't stop there though! He went on to erase Collazo's schooling of Ricky. Then he excuses Ricky while not acknowledging a KO and his crap performance after. He then blames the corner then "unblames" the corner when it is convenient.

    Just stop. :rofl

  14. If Cotto loses to Foreman - was he ruined by Margarito or Pacquiao? Or hell, Clottey?

:good Good analysis. What really impressed me and got my respect for both these fighters was what they had already done before WW. They were both great and you could tell of their greatness how Floyd struggled with Castillo and prevailed in the rematch and Pacquiao struggled with Marquez despite the controversy doesn't look back on that and somehow these guys seemed to have gotten way better to the point it's scary. They're in that point where I think they've reached the apex in their careers where they are at their absolute best. That's why this fight has to be done and not only the hardcore fans want it, but the mainstream media that helped hype both these fighters has helped in making this a good guy vs. bad guy type of fight.
