yup. his guard was tight and a lot of marquez' combinations were blocked.

that was a noticeable improvement.. he still didn't counter marquez effectivelyt enough but he did enough to win.

he did get hit a lot of times and it was the first time i've seen pac's knees buckle from a legal punch in a very long while

it would be much more if he didn't have that tight guard. i thought pac will go down on round 8. scared the hell out of me.

I agree that Pac's defense has improved. But his offensive intensity has gone down a bit despite the developments of the right hand. He looked a bit tentative in the beginning rounds and little anemic in the middle rounds. It felt like he did just enough to win while JMM was showing all the goods.

yep. luckily pac has a very good chin and sturdy legs to shake it off. that's why pac convincingly won the very next round after it.

with pac's cut really affecting him, i really thought that after the 8th the fight was virtually over and jmm was going to win a clear decision. but pac w/ his fighting heart, overcame the cut and came roaring back to win rounds 9, 10 and 11. pac is truly a warrior.

me too. another clean punch to the side of the body ccould have changed things for pac. by the way, i predicted pac to ko jmm in the 8th. hahaha.

but at least i got all the winners correctly

yup. good thing he caught jmm coming in and staggered him. if he lost the ninth, it would have been to deep a hole to come out of
