i apologize, it appears i was the one that confused the situation. my point was to draw a line between pacs standing, and floyds standing, not the differences in pacs standing to durans. i hope that clears up the mix up.
A guy who was 6 years past his prime couldn't defeat a much larger man isnt a negative. Would Pacquiaos resume be improved if he beat Mayweather? Yes, but Floyd is a much bigger man. Leonard was bigger than Duran. Sure, but Duran lost to Hearns and Hagler too because they were too big. Nobody, not even Pac can run through man after man after man when you're giving up size. Pac has beaten naturally bigger men before too. Barrera is the same size as Pac. And Manny crushed him. Marquez and Morales are bigger than Manny and much tougher fights for him. That's totally normal. And yet Pac beat Cotto, Hatton and Thurman. Guys who make him look like a 12 year old. So it can be done. But nobody, including Duran or Pac can continually dominate larger men.
Oh my Lord, is this the same crowd that crowned Anthony Joshua the greatest heavyweight of all time a few months ago? Freddie Roach when asked could Manny beat Duran said no, any thinking analyst would agree. Duran is a top ten all time great, Morales beat the shiz out of Manny in his prime, you want to match up Manny or Eric Morales with Roberto at 135 pounds? Or maybe you'd like to pit Manny with Leonard or Hagler? to suggest that is a joke
