Pacquiao has now fought 2 welters better than anyone Floyd has fought at ww

    Miguel Cotto and Joshua Clottey.

Two of the top 6 welters in the world at the moment, along with Pac, Mosley, Mayweather and Berto.

By contrast, Mayweather has fought Sharmba Mitchell, Carlos Baldomir, Zab Judah, Ricky Hatton and Juan Manuel Marquez.

Both Cotto and Clottey would beat all five of them at welter.

What does that tell you about the contrasting mentalities of Pac and Floyd?

Well he hasn't fought Clottey yet. And Floyd did beat Oscar at a weight that was more suitable to De La Hoya. And Zab at the time was pretty formidable. Also theres the catchweight business.

Pac and Fraud have 1 catchweight fight each. Unlike Fraud... Pac, Cotto, and Marquez did not show up 2 pounds over the agreed catchweight.

None of this negates this statement though:

PS: Yeah, Zab was really formidable in getting beat by ****ing Baldomir, wasn't he?

PPS: The "catchweight business"? Cotto weighed in ONE POUND lighter for Pac then he did for Clottey, and Cotto himself said in a televised interview after the fight that he felt great at the weight.

A rather feeble attempt to grasp at straws methinks.

Yes, but he was **** at boxing though.

Cotto and Clottey are far better fighters.

I agree with ya that Cotto and Clottey are great opponents and thats commendable. Just think it's a little biased to represent it like this. I hate Mayweather for not facing great Welters as well, but I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt until we see his next opponent.

I don't think Pac could sustain it. He's already stretched at 147. I expect any moment now that he'll diminish. That's why it's pathetic Floyd didn't make the fight. Pac's high-octane performance will burn him out. Too many wars already and i have observe, he's the most active P4P fighter today.

Both cotto and clottey are top rank fighters. Easy fights to get made once pac came up in weight. Pac is also a top rank fighter.
