doesnt matter if he feels its too big for him, the man was the undisputed ww champ of the world, and floyd signed to fight an opponent that many thought would beat him, that doesnt sound like a ducker to me or someone who doesnt want to fight the top guys at ww...well we can look at judah in 2010 and say he stinks but at that time he was the champ, and i bet once we look at margarito and clottey a few years down the line we are going to say the exact same thing, that they were just average...im sure if margs was the linear ww champ then floyd would have fought him without hesitation, how is it floyds fault that all of these guys that are so highly ranked were not relevant when he entered the ww division?...u dont become the king of a division without fighting somebody good, and just because the names are different now doesnt mean that pacs choice of opponents is any better then floyds.

Clottey Cotto was controversial, JMM vs Pac I was a robbery, and JMM vs Pac II was a raping by the judges on JMM. Not the same.

You see for it to be a controversial dec, it takes more then the fans of a fighter to actaully think he won. Only *******s thing that Pac won his fights with JMM. Thus the props that JMM got, being that more feel he had crimes committed against when they AWARDED Pac with a Draw and a win.

It tells me their mentalities are not as different than first suspected as he backed out of the chance to face the one welter that can match his speed & talent aka his toughest challenge... lets face it, other than Mosely, MP & FM **** all over the other welters, they are huge favourites & rightly so.

If FM signed to fight Clottey as quick as a flash after backing out of the MP fight, he would be getting slaughtered 100 new threads a day on here, its got to work both ways.

Clottey is a MASSIVE step down from FM, massive, there is no use in trying to justify this complete garbage.

It will be a monumental upset if the slow Clottey beats MP, that tells you everything about this bull**** fight we are being fed.

Ps. On a slightly different note, I heard Jones & Hopkins wil eventually have their rematch :-(... no fkn wonder the casual fan prefers MMA.

I wasn't aware that Floyd had fought two WWs!!! The only genuine WW was the distinctly mediocre Baldomir. All of the others came up from lower divisions :thumbsup

so did cotto...it is laughable how he gets ZERO credit for fighting the #1 154 lb fighter coming off a ko of mayorga and being outweighed by 10+ pounds on fight night....so someone HEAVIER than a ww is not good enough lol...that ODLH would beat clottey and cotto

Bull****. I thought Pac clearly won the first fight, compubox numbers even clears this up. The 2nd fight was a lot closer but again, compubox numbers favours Pac round by round.

I know compubox numbers is not the definite answer but its the only facts that exist around this fight, other than Pac UD.

Yes, he claims it was easy money and an easy fight yet would not budge on 24 days despite that being better than what any of his 40 previous opponents had to adhere to.

yep, he really wanted it bad...

dear lord i explained why he didnt, pacquaio was fighting a legit welterweight, why would he put himself at a huge disadvantage by not first testing if he can handle a full 147 fighter

What i find funny is they claim all the guys Pac beat prior to the accusations were all bums.

DLH - weight drain, and past prime
Hatton - exposed and is a bum
    Diaz - bum
Cotto - weight drained, exposed, past prime

According to the PBF nuthuggers. Now they are claiming he needs PED to beat these so call bum. They will cling to this PED. If Pac sucked so bad that he needs PED to beat bum, then why doesn't PBF sign the fight and get the easiest 30 million of his life?

Of course they will stick to the blood test instead of answering the question. Instead of PBF giving a boxing lesson to Pac for an easy 30 million dollar payday they 'll just say "blood test".

That version of DLH beats Cotto, Clottey AND MPs ass, it was his last great fight.

The only reason he lost that night is because of who he was in there with.

They constantly contradict themselves like Mayweather. They come up with 100 difference scenarios and arguments, all contradicting each other and use which ever one backsup their argument the best.

    Here is a classic example:
Pac uses a drug that allows him to walk through Cotto's punches: Well if the drug is active during the fight, it is detectable after the fight right? Pac agreed to blood test in dressing room ffs. Errr ok...argument 1 shattered, so they come up with another one:

Pac used steroids to go up in weight: Well ok, if Pac used steroids to go up in weight, he is now up in weight therefore he wont need them anymore right? Therefore he can go to this fight without juicing to get big, because he is already big enough for the weight. Unless they are trying to suggest he needs steroids just to maintain his Mr. Olympia physique at 147lbs...

Many were clinging on to the Moorer story. Moorer put an end to that, gotta find something new now.

They will tell you he hasnt been fighting bigger men, he was bigger than them. Yet they will use the same exact argument to suggest he is on PED's.

Pac came into his fights 148lbs 4years ago, and Floyd fans would use that as an excuse to says p4p Floyd > Pac because they are around the same weight, Pac just weight drains but PBF doesn't. Yet now they will claim at how shocking it is for him to go up in weight so rapidly.

Marquez won both fights. Both were easy to score for a non-bais viewer.
