Thats the point i was making, he didn't test himself against a full 147 fighter.

Easy fight to score is an overstatement. Round by round compubox numbers suggests Pac winning...thats as unbias as you can get. Other than that, 3 rounds in that fight WAS VERY CLOSE, I dont remember which I had it in notepad somewhere. Now obviously, if you gave those 3 or 2 close rounds to JMM, JMM, won, if you gave 3 or 2 close rounds to Pac, Pac won, if you gave 1 each and 1 draw, the fight was a draw. To me thats as close as it gets.

Money May defeated the linear and ring champion. Pac has a belt that came from where? Oh it was a vacant belt given to Cotto for beating Jennings:-(( that should have went to Clottey who was robbed. Whoop dee do.

Money May is the true undefeated welterweight champion. :deal

Pac made DLH drain down to 147 a weight he hadnt fought in a decade. Then he fought Cotto who was coming off a loss to Clottey, a win over Jennings and a KTFO from Margo. If he wanted to beat the best at welter like Money May did he should have fought Mosley who was the new champ in Money May's absence.

It's funny how quickly people forget...

Baldo was the LINEAR champion. Zab was the previous LINEAR champion. Mayweather beat both of them.

Mosley had a toothache when Mayweather wanted to fight him... or was it family time he wanted? I can't remember the duck he used then. Margarito was a nobody with nothing. His only claim to fame at the time was having a crap belt and getting superhype from Arum. The man did nothing else. Cotto was just getting into the division (and was highly protected by Top Rank) at the time and Williams as well.

At least be honest with your assestment.

I would agree he beat Oscar at 154, but floyd won't. He doesn't count split decisions.

I'm sure a day doesn't go past where Cotto plays out what the fight would've been like had he been allowed to weight in at the proper welter limit.

I could say with confidence now that i don't believe Cotto will ever accept a fight at 145 again.

You still seem to be under the impression that because Cotto stated going into the fight that he felt good at the weight, this is the same as him going into the fight at 147.

    Well lets agree to disagree

in my opinion cotto was at the best he could have been, the extra pound wouldnt have made a difference but the 145 was agreed for the interest of fairness.

    This whole thread is shite...

Pac fought Cotto, but made him come down to 145.
He hasn't fought Clottey yet, but the camp was till contemplating 145.

So bfore you jump on Floyd, talk about Cotto's catchweight, and making the Corpse of Oscar come down to 147...
