The point I was getting at is, Martinez cannot possibly make 150. So if Manny says he'll fight him there, then it tells me that he doesn't want to fight him

Bottom line here is that Martinez is calling out Pac for the payday. Pac holds all the cards. Martinez can say whatever he wants but he has no real negotiating power in this at all. Period. Pac had the 154 belt, sham as it was, and gave it up as soon as he got it. What does Martinez bring to the table for Pac? He has no fan base. You think HBO is going to throw extra money into the pot to hype Sergio over Pac? Sergio is trying to talk himself into a payday and people that want to hate on Pac are picking up on it. Nothing more to it really is there?

i don't buy all this pac is ducking martinez, only idiots and people who don't know **** about boxing will view pac as a champ at 154 and as 8 time division champ. He fought with margo at 150 limit, its only fair to set that as a baseline that if he fights someone else above that then its a duck! The only thing pac is ducking right now is OSDT!

So what if Floyd said he'd fight Bute, but only at 156
Shows he's interested in fighting right? What big balls he has for calling out a Middleweight

The infamous Victor Conte says it is easy to beat the test. Maybe he knows of new designer drugs out there? I wouldn't be surprised if both Pac and Floyd were 'pushing the envelope' somehow. To be honest I think both men are fighting closer to their natural weight now. 147 for Floyd, 140 for Pac.

Floyd just said in that linked vid he came into the Mosley bout at 147. He came into the Hatton fight at 147 as well.

    There is/was no size difference.

Hatton actually outweighed Floyd, as he came in at 154.

LOL, wow you are really reaching here.

And I guess the fact that Floyd shaves his head and is 3 years older in one pic vs. the other makes no difference whatsoever.

It all boils down to this: Floyd fans want to see Pac lose because they know their ***** of an idol is scared to get in the ring with Pac so they make up excuses why a welterweight is ducking a middleweight. Kinda pathetic really and people say *******s are bad.

can we actually have the middleweight champ fight a natural middleweight, not a weight drained supermiddle or a bloated junior middle. Lets just get that out of the way first.

Martinez calling out a midget and claims he's too small to face the guy on the upper deck.

Pac rehydrates to 150, he doesn't show up at the scales at 150 and rehydrates to 165. It makes more sense for floyd to fight martinez than it does for Pac to fight him, even though Floyd has never got into the ring with Cotto, probably waiting for him to get more worn before he challenges him
