I am beginning to believe that Pacquiao has gotten some of Benjamin Button's genes. He isn't growing older, he's growing younger. The more he fights, the faster he gets. Margarito wasn't exactly lumbering, though he looked that way compared to the blur Pacquiao was. The announcer would say the other fighters were also fast, but none of them had Pacquiao's power. He was right. Even while moving side to side, Pacquiao could hit like a ton of bricks. One sequence in that fight (I hope somebody make a gif out of it) could very well discourage Floyd Mayweather from ever entering the ring with him. That was the one where he took six shots at Margarito in rapid fire, a whole repertoire of blows that found its mark.

I think Pac is still good for four more years. He has already established his legacy as a legendary boxer. His pantheon of greatness is already in its finishing touches. We are lucky to have lived in an era where we are witness to a rare legend in our sport of boxing.

I think pacquiao is a little slower then he was in the Oscar fight, but he seems to fight a lot smarter.

he is getting smarter, but not faster or stronger.

He is better positioned than he used to be, but that doesn't mean his hands are moving faster. They definately aren't.

He is more accurate than he used to be, but that doesn't mean that he is punching harder. He definately isn't.

Indeed Benjamin Button.......I guess we could say that Mark McGuire, Sammy Sosa, Barry Bonds, and Roger Clemens had those same Genes when they started having better stats in their mid to late 30's.:deal
In fact there were quite alot of Benji Buttons during that era of baseball.......they got younger with age........

........ that is until MLB started their year round random drug testing policy.

    Another sour grape!!!!

Stick to JMM threads. He is becoming irrelevant.

Try to hype up the fight with Katsidis. It is not getting much hype.:lol::lol:

Meh, George was getting better with age also.

Maybe not faster, not stronger but simply experienced and smart.

    This^^, I think.

Plus that he's at his very, very peak right now or even very, very slighly past it already. 1-2 Excelent fights probably still left in him. Mayweather will maybe come back from vacation for the 3rd.
