Aint gonna lie, hatton's bodyshot scares the hell out of me more than the clinching.

The Dirty Harry tough guy warnings sound better when you aren't picking the universal favorite.

The problem is when hatton goes for the body he will be wide open for pac to attack. Pac usually throws combination so hatton better watch out cuz in return he will be taking punches in the face.

its typically more difficult to knock out a fighter with a single punch to the body that a punch the face. hence, probability wise, hatton would be at a disadvantage.

but this will be a massive fight for both boxers. i am just surprised that hatton is now the underdog when under just two years ago, people were saying that hatton will murder pac if he ever fought at 140.

    how times change.

I really want Pac to win but ever since this fight was signed i always saw him as the underdog. Skillwise Pac is better than Hatton but this is hattons weight class and Pacs first fight at 140 and Hatton is the strongest fighter Pac has fought yet. Definitely not an easy task but his speed and skills might be the key to victory. Pac must keep the fight in the middle of the ring and avoid the ropes at all costs.

If he can really hurt Manny w/ that vaunted body punch....

agree. i disagree with the odds that favor pac 2:1. i think this will be more like 50:50 come fight night. although i give a slight edge to pac(powered by fervent prayers) based on sheer will power.

i think more than anything, his ability to marshall his skills and talents, despite technical frailties is simply ****ing amazing.

both fighters are not known to back down from a fight. this will be a war for the first 6 round before pac starts to control the fights both with power and accuracy.

Hatton's left hook to the body was non-existent against Mayweather, and I don't think it will show up against Pacquiao. He won't get much of a chance to use it. Pacquiao's not going to stand in front of Hatton. He's going to punch (more counter-punches than some may expect) with pin-point shots. Whatever has changed with Mayweather, one thing will be the same and that is that Hatton will be squared up like usual and he'll get picked off until he's had enough. I don't see any other way it happens.

Where the **** is this body thing coming from? Who started this rumor?

FFS analyze the fight realistically and dont reach for **** thats not there. One person started this and everyones eating this **** up:lol:

Tell me how Hatton can catch Pac lunging and maybe testing Pacs chin but ****, dont fantasize about things thats so remote as a kidney punch!

Hatton had Paulie all night as a punching bag and I didnt see him getting hurt. Paulie is a scrawny little guido from Canarsie

Well, anyone hoping for Hatton to win is banking on either his strength being greater and/or a lucky liver shot! It's not going to happen though.

    :lol::lol::lol:

Just like Allen Iverson said: "Kidney Shot???"

There are other options to win but youre talking about "Kidney Shot???"

Hatton is a good fighter isnt he? why are we talking about "Kidney Shot?"

Any fighter who gets hits by the right punch at the right button goes down. :deal

. . . now we will see if that will happen here. We have to wait . . . for the conclusion. :yep

Don't expect manny to stand there like castillo did defenseless against the kidney shot. Manny will be moving around using his footwork and his handspeed to beat hatton.

true chimba. true. to point out a flaw of pacs defensive set based on a supposed glass body is really baseless.

that is basically assuming that pac today is the same as pac 10 years ago.
