Pacquiao Hatton size difference

Manny Pacquiao
height 5′ 6½″ / 169cm
reach 67″ / 170cm

Ricky Hatton
height 5′ 7½″ / 171cm
reach 65″ / 165cm

So Ricky is 1 inch taller, but Manny has a 2 inch reach advantage.

 

In terms of heigh and reach, there's not much between either of them. It's pretty even, Manny is proven to be comfortable at around 135lbs, and he fought a BIG welterweight in Oscar De La Hoya last time out.

Hatton is stockier, has a thicker trunk and more muscular thighs, but other than that there's very little between them.

 

Somebody posted a Tale of the Tape in an earlier post a month or so ago. It was surprising how many physical advantages went Pacquiao's way. The biggest size difference in Hatton's favor was fist size, which is a pretty nice advantage to have.

True though, But it's kinda rare someone who came from the lowest weight is more bigger than the guy who live his career in that weight division.

Just wanna see how well Pac can handle Hatton's awesome body punching and roughing techniques.

 

Bingo...I agree, Hatton is a rough fighter that usually brings the fight to you with effective pressure...As I've stated before I'm in the middle on this fight but IF Manny can pull a page out of Mayweather book and beat Hatton at his own game then Manny will win this one no doubt.

IF Manny cant handle the rough house tactics or can he handle or negate Hatton's body attack then its a long night for Pacman....Thats why this match up is so good. Its has FOY written all over it!
