"I don't have an idea right now, but hopefully the fight will push through next year. We're going to pray that and hopefully there's no problems with the promoter," said the Filipino ahead of Saturday's clash with Juan Manuel Marquez.

"It's going to be a good fight if that fight happens. I'm sure that millions of people are going to love to watch that fight."

    Pacquaio wants the fight
    Mayweather "we looking for pacquiao"

Maybe this fight will happen in May

Also Pacquiao fights every 6 months

Mayweather never said,'were looking for Pacquiao'! Don't be putting words in his mouth.

I say, we as boxing fans, form a mob, kidnap these mother ****ers and hold them hostage until they sign a deal to fight.

Manny just came out and said his promoter has been getting in the way of the fight, and people will ignore and continue to crucify Floyd

If we kidnap them, why not just make them fight in backyard. **** it...4 oz gloves, and flip a coin to see who comes to the ring first.

Once again he has to refer back to his promoter. Bob Arum is relevant. Fine, I get it. But Pac is in the driver's seat and Arum sits on the passenger's side. If Pac really wants the fight to happen he needs to do more. It seems like he's shying away from calling out Mayweather because Pac might be afraid of appearing less than high and mighty in doing so. But that's not how it should be viewed. He needs to treat it like searching for medicine for a sick kid. Do whatever it takes. Demand it. Speak up. Berate Arum if he has to. I realize it takes two to tango but that doesn't mean I will never give it a 110% effort.

If MP doesn't want it, I'll live. It's not a crime. He'll always be an icon and obviously doesn't need Mayweather. But don't tell me you want something and then sit back and put up a half-assed effort. That would be a lie in my book.

He may need to leave Arum to make this fight happen. I honestly think he wants it, but Arum is running the show.

Let's hope Pac finds some way to force him to make this fight. I have been critical of Pac, but I know he wants that massive payday. :deal

Aint that the muh'****in' truth. I just saw someone on that very same thread (over at ***********) say that Manny's fights with Margarito and Cotto were tougher fights than the Mayweather fight will ever be. He said the 2 reasons that the fight hasn't happened is because of Floyd's lack of balls, and his legal trouble.

That idiot has some serious issues with dealing with reality. A felony hearing scheduled for Dec. 21. That could mean that the case is a loooooong ways away from being settled. Bob Arum admits that he's never been too keen on making the fight happen. Manny says he hopes there's no problem with the promoter, yet he still thinks it Floyd's lack of balls, and his legal issues that will halt the fight.

I truly hope that Manny Pacquiao has the where-with-all to make a push for the fight, instead of hoping it pushes. He has to show that he's willing to do what he has to do as a fighter. He has a nation of followers who want to see him attempt to dethrone the king.
