Apparently the report from yesterday was false, and it's true that Pacquiao indeed decided to skip the MGM Grand Arrival. Instead, he's having his own without Mayweather. Pacquiao is hosting a fan rally for his arrival at Mandalay Bay in Bayside C, located on the first floor of the South Convention Center, beginning at 10:00 a.m. PT. Slightly disappointing, but Manny wants to be his own boss. If he doesn't want to listen to Floyd, whateva. How funny would it be if Pacquiao's fan rally completely overshadowed Floyd's grand arrival?
I love that, Manny's his own Man and he's taking a degree of the play away from Mayweather, he's playing by his own rules and not Floyd's or anyone else's, however small it may be its still a mini psychological game that's telling Floyd that he flipping the script.
He's trying his best to catch up with the most egomaniacal fighter in the history of the sport....but he still has a loooooooooooooooooooooooooong way to go.
I think that Mayweather has actually been the more likable of the two in the lead up to this particular fight as strange as that is
That's old and don't work with Floyd. Canelo tried it, he wouldn't take pictures with the belt, wouldn't touch gloves, shoulder bumped Floyd and just totally acted an ass. Still took a whoopin. Same with Pac. He talking all out of the side of his neck about what he's gonna do, jumping around like a puppet thinking that the victory is his cause people are telling him that and just generally making an ass of himself. All the while, Mayweather is putting in his work and designing a master beat down of the puppet. Those petty games my work in the minors but this is the big boy league and that squat rolls off Mayweather like water off a whales back.
