It's not all Arum's fault. It's not like Floyd has to give Arum a cut of his money, so he could have fought all those fighters. There was a lot of demand for those fights, and Floyd missed out. He would have made good money and got respect for cleaning out the division. What better way to get at Arum than to dispose of his fighters.

the two do not want to make each other money

arum is pissed because floyd bought out his contract (arum is still pissed because ODLH bought himself out)

he does not want to work with floyd

floyd, does not want to make arum any money...he feels arum made enough off of him, and doesn't want arum profiting off the mayweather name (face it, he is a huge draw)

add to that, if floyd did fight cotto and dismantle him, or margo, it puts a hurt on that fighters future earnings

however, if TR fighters fight TR fighters, arum gets a cut (a large cut) of both fighters purses, he controls the site money, the gate, the PPV, everything

he can also always come out with a victory, and manipulate the losers next fight

just look at cotto (and i like cotto)

he loses to margo, a TR guy....fights a nobody, then goes life and death with clottey, a TR guy, and proceeds to lose to pac, a TR guy...only to somehow find himself getting a title shot at 154 fighting, guess what, a TR guy

when TR fighters fight other TR fighters arum controls everything, and can really squeeze the most $ out of each fighter that way

there is a saying...you can skin a sheep once, but you can sheer it many times

Because he doesn't want to make Arum any money, he's avoiding the top WW's. I don't buy that kind of reasoning. Arum probably makes more money pitting his own together. He doesn't even need Floyd. Floyd is missing out on huge paydays, especially against Pac.

Even if that really is the reason Floyd avoids those Arum fighters, what's the reasoning for not defending the title against mandatories when he got it from Baldomir. Berto was the mandatory and Floyd never fought him back then. Berto is one of the champs now, so why doesn't Floyd fight him? Are you gonna tell me it's because of promoters again? Why doesn't he fight Paul Williams?

I don't understand this ****. Who is left there for Floyd to fight?

I just read the article on "The Scene". Very Interesting!!! Although I believe 100% everything Pacquiao said...I have a VERY DIFFICULT time believing ANYTHING....ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING that comes out of the mouth of Freddie Roach (without video evidence..and still I will only believe half of that!!!). Now with all that being said...If any of that **** was true about Testing, then Floyd needs to be called out on that ****...FOR REAL!!!! I think everyone (even Pacquiao fans) would understand his reluctancy to sign with a date and venue with Uncle Roger pending legal situation. I think all would understand that he wants to go into the biggest fight of his career with the trainer that has helped him to get to this point.

However, something did seem a little off. Roach mentioned that he was receiving calls about gloves, weight and ring size...WHY??? There was already a CONSENSUS AGREEMENT on during the first negotiations. But says he was receiving calls about these same issues the "Second time"...WAIT, IS THAT SMOKE BEING BLOWN UP MY ASS????

    you cannot be serious

first, nice that you just pick one part of the post, but ignore the rest

second...who was his mandatory after baldomir...berto? i don't know, i'll take your word for it, but who did he fight after baldomir? ODLH

I can't blame him for taking that fight (like i don't blame pac) that was a huge fight, and i can't see how you could claim any different

you seriously wanna give floyd **** for not defending the WW title to move up to JrMW and fight oscar?

do you also give pac **** for not defending the LW title to move up and fight oscar?

if not, you are a hypocrite

agreeing to the 14 days cut-off by floyd is enough but if this is true, then pac really wants this fight to happen. meanwhile someone or some "family" does not not want this fight to materialize and would rather go on vacation.
