And there are a whole lot of holes in Pacman's game especially in the defense department and he better be on his Game cuz he's going to get pushed and tested for the first time above 130. HE's never fought anyone with the brute strength and the madness of Hatton and he'll definitely get punked in this fight. He doesnt do well against rough and somewhat of dirty fighters and hatton has that perfect style to throw him off his game. Hatton isnt going to give him time nor space to set his foot and look for him to rough pacman up on the inside.

First of all i'll be rooting for pac coz i'm a fan... I think he has the tools to beat ricky with the right gameplan in place. But IMO this fight is still 50/50. The fighter who can establish his gameplan will win this one. That's my take... :good

"i feel that hattons really made for us. he gets hit a lot, his chins up in the air and he cant throw a strait punch, he loops everything, and mannys straight shots down the middle and movement after combinations is gonna be the key to the fight." -roach

    true story.

Very intriguing fight to say the least.

In Floyd's fight against Hatton the one thing he did to Hatton was to turn Hatton's game back on him. He'd clinch Hatton just when Hatton was about to let loose, and bodypunch him when Hatton was about to clinch. His lead right was beautiful in its speed and timing.

For Manny, its probably against his nature to clinch, which I think a fighter would need to do against Hatton in the early rounds. Manny's straight left is as fast as Floyd's although probably not as concussive. Manny's defense and chin is quite good, better than Malignaggi's anyway. Hatton caught Paulie with some flush shots and never put him down, so I can't see Hatton putting Manny down.

I don't see Floyd Sr's input helping too much. Hatton cannot box with the faster Manny. He has to do what he usually does, brawl and maul. The longer this fight goes, the worse it will be for Hatton, and I think Manny's left hand will catch Hatton when he throws the hook to the body.

Well in Hatton's defense, Cotto couldnt put Malinaggi down either. Well down, but not out

For me i think the fight will come down to punch resistance. Oscar didn't really land a single big shot on Manny but when he came close it looked like Manny didn't like it too much, if Hatton feels he can take Manny's best shot he will be in for a very good chance. I don't think theres any doubt Pac has the superior hand speed and will be able to exploit holes in Hatton's defense but he is a fairly proud guy and will likely get drawn into brawling. Hatton needs to turn it into a war early, if he dicks about early Manny will box and won't be drawn out of it.

I remember Roach saying to Manny in between rounds vs DLH, "when your back touches the ropes you've gotta get out of there." He'll have to do the same thing and not get drawn into a brawl. If Ricky is able to hit him with a body shot like the one against Castillo, Pacman could be in trouble.

i think they underestimate Hatton.Hatton showed in the malignaggi fight, that he can jab,
throw straight punches, got better head movements.
    every fighter have some weakness.
I think hatton will try to be all over pacman so he dosen´t have time to think.
But wow,it´s one of the fights IMO that really is exiting because they are both going forward, throwing a lot of punches,AND they will fight till the end.
I really like both fighters, but i hope hatton take this one,at the end of his great career.
