Pacquiao: I could have done more damage to Mayweather

I could throw 1200 punches against a manequin in 36 minutes...Pacs problems will start when someone start throwing back. All saturday night did for me is show that Mayweather would make Pac look quite ordinary. Speed does kill, but only against stationary targets, when was the last time Pac actually boxed a slickster?

 

I like Pacquiao but if he and Mayweather ever get it on I think Mayweather dominates him ? Call me stupid if u want but I think it will b very one sided :bbb

 

Well, I'm not going to bury my head in the sand, Saturday night changed things for me somewhat.

Morales' tactics made Pac think hard, and look very puzzled (and it took him 2 fights to come up with the answer)

Big chances that Floyd could do the same, totally bamboozle him

I think PBF beats the pac man, they should sign a 3 fight deal and have best of 3, would be fantastic, only fight i want to see either in at the minute

Let's not now overrate Floyd on account of beating a man most said he would beat easily (me excluded *sighs*).

But, you know what? I just want to see the fight and actually find out what will happen. Put it this way, I won't pick against Pac ever again after the beating he administered to Cotto. I won't pick against Floyd after the way he dismantled Mosley. So, if they face each other, what then?

 

He's a different fighter now. I think his trouble with Marquez is more relevant than Morales. If Floyd chooses to come forward and assert himself the same way he did against Mosley, fair enough - but Pac doesn't struggle to pull the trigger, even when he's struggling.

floyd has the faster feet... getting in AND out.

floyd has the faster reflexes. he doesnt have to think about hitting you, he automatically throws when the chance comes.

floyd is the smarter fighter.

Workrate means **** if your opponent keeps skipping back whenever you come forward.


im just thinking... every fight pacquiao has had since the Marquez 'win' has gone exactly as he planned so you could say he has had everything his own way in the ring as of late. so what happens when he cant get into floyd and floyd starts clocking him with quick snapping jabs and crosses? will he keep his cool or will his legs start flying around the place again every time he throws a left just like back in the day? i think floyd will win by KO in the late rounds :hey

 

Thankfully, I'm not a massive fan of either, so I should be more capable of making a pick at the time.

 

must admit, after seeing floyd again, i am edging towards him. I just think the punches in bunches pac throws could be fairly ineffective against floyd if floyd puts on a defensive masterclass like we know he can.

 

It's not just the offence, it's the angles, the speed, the consistency, the way he mixes light and hard shots in. Floyd's a defensive maestro against slower opponents, but Manny doesn't fight anything like those guys.

I just want to see it.

 

The fight showed me that Floyd has the power to KO Manny.

So depending on hoew he copes with Manny's insane workrate, Floyd by KO. Probably late.

 

Mayweathers dominance of Mosley gave no clear indication of how a fight between Pacquaio v Mayweather might turn out.
Although Floyd was great Shane was almost as toothless as Clottey!
For a start Pacquiao would keep on throwing even when he's eating shots.Pacquiao comes in from side to side Mosley just edged in cagily, wary of what was coming back at him.
Yes Morales did give Pacquiao problems in a great fight but Morales took a lot of hard shots which withered him in the rematch and destroyed him in the third. Pac has the power to ktfo Floyd Mayweather:deal

 

Pac didnt just keep coming when JMM countered him. He was all over the place in that fight and in some of those rounds he didnt know if he needed a shite or a haircut

Floyd is a far superior counterpuncher than JMM imo and Pac will be KO'd mid to late rounds (if Floyd chooses to that is)
