"If Mayweather defeats Ortiz on Sept. 17 and then Pacquiao down the line, there will be no question that he’ll be without peer in his era. Being the best in his era is all that can be asked of a boxer.
If Mayweather beats Ortiz, then faces and defeats Pacquiao, the critics will be forced to stand down.
Floyd Mayweather Jr., finally, will have answered any and all questions."

Uh... Mayweather needs Pacquiao... not the other way around. Pac's already cemented his foundation. While Mayweather's is built with clay and the **** in his brain.:smoke

They both need the fight. They need each other.

They really don't. But if the fight don't happen, Floyd will be seen as the one to blame by most.

he does want the fight, but I think he doesn't want people to think that he's desperate to get it done or that his legacy doesn't mean anything w/o the fight

People, don't buy this Ortiz fight. Download the ****, watch it on youtube. So long as you CONTINUE to give Floyd your hard earned dollars he will play this game. Because it's true, he DOESN'T have to fight Pac. There's easier guys out there. But hey, you DON'T have to put up with this ****.

Vote with your dollar, boycott Floyd. :good

You, as fans, have to draw the line somewhere. And EVERYTHING is free if you look for it.:hey

:deal What's hilarious is all the guys who've been bashing Mayweather and praising Pac don't realize dude is just trolling to catch the idiots.. PAC said this, he reversed the names, and majority fell for it.. Nobody wants to complain when Pac says it but when they believe Mayweather did they jump on him saying he's scared. :rofl:rofl

You all do notice its NO source right?

But only problem with that is when Pac says it, he's correct. Pac is known for great fights at the lower weights and beating the **** out of much bigger fighters. And I know Floyd didn't say this, but that's how he is acting. Which of course is bull****, because Pac would just be another big name he ducked. And that's gonna be something that will haunt him when he retires. :deal

Yeah dude. Excuse Pac FOR saying it, but talk **** when you know Mayweather didn't say it, because you believe it's how he's acting. That's the way to go!!

there is no doubt that Floyd beating Pac would take him to a different level in terms of legacy.

if he feels that he does not need to get to that next level or even that the agrro of getting the fight made is not worth it, well that is up to Floyd.
