He just posted on his Instagram on how he feels slow.

He posted a vid of him shadowboxing w/ the caption. I found it ironic because he says he feels slow yet he looks pretty dangerously fast in the vid.

Looks like they both are starting the mind games early.

He looked slower to me then normal when I saw him shadowbox. But really, its day 3  Im sure his speed will look normal a month from now.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I was comparing their shadowing boxing from 2010 and 2015. He threw 20 punches in 1 second in 2010, and when I slowed down the shadow boxing vid from yesterday, he only threw 14 in 1.2 seconds. So, not slow, but slower.

The shadow boxing you see in that year 2010, is it also only after his 3 days of training?

No, I don't think so. That's good point, but still... he just finished fighting Algieri. It's not like he hasn't boxed in a while. Plus, he's been truly training for about 2 weeks now. He's been shadowboxing and doing mitts since before he came to the USA.

Perhaps he throws longer more extended punches now? I don't think punches/per second is a good way to judge speed though TBH.

I think the speed of single punch is more important. Being half speed in boxing (going from 20 punches to just 12 in a second) would mean the END of your career lol. The differences between the slowest guys in the division and the fastest is only about 30% speed difference MAX.
