    And that's all fair.

But why is Floyd to blame for every fight that doesn't happen?

Cotto and Margarito, imo, are the only 2 names missing on his resume that could have realistically have occurred. Both are with Top Rank, so Arum could have caused a bit of a road block to. It's not just a simple "Floyd ducked them" argument.

Margarito was gun ho for fighting Floyd, no doubt. But after Floyd had already signed to fight Judah, to beat Judah and then not go on to face the guy that just beat Judah prior would also be a HUGE hole in his resume. In a perfect world, Judah would have faded a round or two later against Baldomir and won that fight, and I honestly have no doubt that the Margarito fight would have occurred next (rather than Baldomir) as Floyd was still with Top Rank at the time.

Cotto, on the other hand, was undefeated when the initial talks between the two came up. I'm not entirely positive Arum and Cotto's team were doing everything possible to make the fight happen. But as I've said before, it takes two to tango. So no way would I just blame Cotto.

williams was exactly in his weight class when it was waxing hot. but floyd was busy fighting hatton or taking on the big show while on retirement. floyd mentioned fighting the winner of williams-martinez but proceeded to fight ortiz coming from another vacation.

so why does floyd wants his yearly supply of GBP fighters?

    2007 - Delahoya (GBP)
    2007/8 - Hatton (GBP)
    2009 - Marquez (GBP)
    2010 - Mosley (GBP)
    2011 - Ortiz (GBP)
2012 - which GBP fighter is next?

Williams was not hot until he beat Tony-even then he wasn't hot-

he then signed to fight Cintron but pulled out due to injury and ended up with CARLOS QUINTANA 1

    GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT *****

I CAN KEEP SCHOOLING YOU LITTLE GUY-

    so my facts are wrong?

so kindly tell me which non-GBP fghter has floyd fought from the last 5 years?

floyd was the one who is proven who doesn't fight outside of his promotional outfit. so now it was pacquiao to blame since floyd would only fight GBP fighters. pathetic *****s.

care to answer, which GBP is next for floyd? shaefer's plan of putting khan was put on hold until khan wins again.

You are correct, but I don't understand your reason behind the post? All the fighters were top fighters coming off impressive wins.

    As I posted earlier:
You didn't seem to have a problem with this post.

Plus, the fights have sold EXTREMELY well and made a helluva lot of money for all involved.

And most importantly, Arum wants nothing to do with Floyd and GBP. So who should he have fought?

Lmfao-look at pugi-everyone picking on him-poor guy should go slit his wrists or some ****...

Notice how *******s resort to "asking questions" after you answer the same question that was worded different

to me, it shows how weak there argument is-

posters like pugi and dodo and pejevan are amongst the worst-they truly don't know much about the sport, yet they act like they know it all-damn shame.

again fair post. some facts regarding the cotto fight was not mentioned like ellerbe shutting him down instantly as an opponent since they think cotto is a non-draw.

cotto-mayweather was a very big fight back in 2008 for the hardcore boxing fans. it could be as big as pacquiao-mayweather is back in 2009 to 2010. i was just frustrated that that fight did not happen. floyd and his camp seems not to be too willing to do business with TR and that's what killed both the cotto and pacquiao fight. of course i would not be an ass and as blind as some *****s and that they only blame arum. arum has done his fair share.

    :thumbsup

It always takes 2 to tango, and Floyd certainly ain't no saint.

I would of LOVED for Floyd to have fought an undefeated Cotto after Floyd had just beaten beaten Hatton and Cotto had just beaten Mosely. HUGE FIGHT.
