No he didn't show signs of slowing down against Diaz. Diaz was just that good to trouble a great fighter like JMM.

Some people peak late you ****ing fraud. The reason why most fighters peak early is because of their styles. You didn't do **** in responding to my post about Marquez's style and why he peaked late. His peaking right now because he didn't have alot of wars and didn't sustain heavy damage when he was young and that's what allowed him to still fight at a high level right now and why he's in his prime.

What the **** is so hard to understand about that? Why can't your narrow of a ****ing mind understand that there are more to things than age? JMM is winning against quality opposition against quality opposition. 2008 and 2009 are arguably the best years of his career and you ****ing sit there and say his past prime. Also stop nitpicking about this physical prime and mental prime you dip**** because it only makes you even more dumber and desperate. A fighter's PRIME refers to his FIGHTING PRIME. It doesn't matter if its physical prime or mental prime. A PRIME is where a fighter is at the best stage of his career. It is where he keeps fighting and defeating the best opposition. It is the ability to keep fighting at the highest level. That is all IRREGARDLESS of whether he's mentally prime or physically prime. Pac is the best example of this. Pac's PHYSICAL prime was when he was at 122/126, where he was knocking people left and right and was amazingly faster than even now. Right now, he's already past his PHYSICAL prime ever since he moved up to the higher weights. His power has diminished along with his speed. But even with that, Pac is in his ABSOLUTE PRIME right now, SOLELY because Pac is fighting at the HIGHEST LEVELS of the sport. That also applies to JMM. Whether or not they're at their physical prime or mental prime right now is irrelevant.

Otherwise, if you keep harping on about this bull**** theory of yours, then I might as well say that Pac is PAST HIS PRIME now. So if ever a 3rd fight happened and JMM beat him, then JMM only beat a past prime Pac. :deal

All of this means nothing, we all know these guys will just cry about how Pac is "scared" of JMM because both fights were close. If Pacquiao knocks him out we know what the excuse will be already, JMM is shot.
