Pacquiao: I would love a rematch with Floyd now that my shoulder is fine.

His shoulder was fine when he signed up for the first fight. Excuses.

 

many fighters sign fights when they know they are injured pac had insane pressure to go through the fight it was BIG money can you imagine him pulling out and waiting out 9 months for his shoulder to heal after surgery?

 

Watch the fight again with the commentary off, in black and white in slow motion with the Guile theme on in the background at 85db and you'll see how easily Pac won that fight despite being crippled by a shoulder injury, impeded by a corrupt ref and taking on juiced up Floyd and his own personal judges who wilfully ignored all of the sterling work done by Pac.

It was the robbery of the century/biggest case of corruption since Nixon. Take your pick.

 

Why shouldn't there be a rematch between two popular fighters? It kills me when people act like a second fight would be redundant when the entire history of boxing shows it's not. **** happens in this sport. Pac fought Marquez 4 times and the result was 2-2. He fought Bradley 3 times even though he won all 3 handily. All through history you see results getting reversed in rematches. Vazquez vs Marquez ended 2-2. Morales vs Barrera ended 2-1. Jones vs Hopkins went 1-1. Castillo vs Corrales went both ways. Gatti vs Ward went 2-1. Rios vs Alvarado went 2-1. The results of fights aren't written in stone. If you put two good fighters in the ring together then anything can happen.

I'd like to see the rematch because I'd like to see what a healthy Manny Pacquiao could do against Floyd Mayweather. I think him fighting with one arm left a real sour taste in the mouths of boxing fans and it's going to go down as a black mark on his legacy like Duran's No Mas. I totally get why people are suing him. They paid to see a fight that he didn't show up healthy for and they feel he ripped them off. He needs to fight Mayweather again to clear the red ink from his ledger and redeem himself.

pac/marquez were all great....vaz/rafa were great....the first castill/corrales demanded they would fight 3 times on the first fight alone....none of these compare to the stinker, a healthy, pac put on

 

But people think since his shoulder is "fine" now that Floyd won't buy his judges, ref, compubox, and commission.. Then he won't use "PEDs" and IVs to cheat and run and hold this time.. Those are the reasons they give why Floyd 'won' but they want a rematch because his arm is fine now.. He's still a shot midget, but a two arm shot midget will beat a juiced up owner of the boxing world...

If you step in the ring - especially in a big PPV event people shelled out masses of money to attend and watch - you forfeit the right to whining excuses. He was fine - he got schooled. There's nothing else to it. I wouldn't pay a brown cent to watch this rematch, just so that Pac can cry about some other reason he lost afterwards.

 

Wait 6 years then maybe Floyduck will give you a rematch

 

If this were cycling, Fluid would have been banned for IV use. Could you imagine Lance Armstrong getting caught by WADA testers on his bus with an IV in his arm the night before the Pyrenees? Would WADA have issued Lance a TUE to circumvent the rules? His urine was brown, he was dehydrated? Haha, so is everyone at the Tour de France, it don't mean you get to use an IV in your room.
