    yeah that's the jest i get out of it even though i don't understand tagalog. i think manny is more overwhelmed by the love and support in this difficult time than he is about the loss. he really is a class act. very hard not to dislike this man. and that's part of his appeal. seems the superstar who wouldn't mind singing some karaoke with the average joe as long as you don't sing better than him.

    These high paid entertainers have lost touch with reality. **** outta here with the crying when you get Koed in a damn game and you go back driving your ferrari on the way to your mansion. Surely within that time you regain your perspective. I dont want to hear that "they are people" too crap. Their lives are 99% easy.

    But the truth is, he does need to retire. Guy has had a long career inside the ring and even longer one in the gym.

    Have 1, 2 more fights tops.

    one against a no hoper, and one against Rios.

    Then start the next chapter of his life. The legend has nothing more to prove.... time catches everyone.

    If they had the mindset you do, they would have never gotten to where they are.

    And Im not taking a shot at you chimba, im just saying.

    Not saying it doesnt happen, but its rare that one becomes champion of the world with a 'i dont give a **** if I lose', or an 'ah... I lost, oh well' mentality.

    And sorry, but boxing aint no game.

    Not sure why you think being rich (that he earned himself, in the ring) somehow should dappen a champions will to succeed.

    Should it ruin his life? Hell no.... but its easy to grasp the depth of emotions going on there.

    I can tell you one thing, had Marquez have the kind of attitude you somehow think Pac should have, he would have never gotten a 4th fight against Pac, and never KO'd him.

    Garuntee you Marquez has shed tears behind close doors over their third fight.... and it was those deep emotions and will to overcome that drove him to victory.

    Makes me think you dont have much competition experience, because I garuntee you most losers you see on tv shed a tear or two behind close doors at some point over their loss.

    Yes but Boxing is now more business now than sports. Anb life moreso for many people isnt sports thats for sure. Hes a veteran. I mean I understand disappointment and regrets and I actually understand crying after a huge win. I get that. But to cry a day after a loss? there are so many reasons ($$$) in their lives now not to cry. Dont care how passionate one is. I didnt see the whole video so I may be jumping but I would actually want to see a fighter have a short memory and keep focus.

    Im laughing at you.. :lol::lol::lol:

    Boxer go through this when they lose a fight. Tommy Hearns refuse to leave his house for 3 month, fighter are very prideful and for them to be emotional over a loss is natural .. but the fans CRYING Get the **** otta here maaaaan!

    Pacman.. is a true champion.. he is emotional coz he feels like he let is nation down.. nothing wrong in that.. I hope he will be back.. he's a top guy

    I hear you Chimba m'man... I know what youre saying. :goodJust the way it is though for certain type of people.

    Foreman was near suicide, Hatton was near suicide, many others fell into deep depressions.

    Fighters have put their life into boxing, they have given up bits of themselves in that ring, and they go in there putting their life and health on the line for victory.... and regardless of the wealth they have amassed, inside them still beats that champions heart..... and when all that comes crashing down for them inside the ring, most, not some but most.... will shed tears.

    But I do know what youre saying Chimba, and in that vein I hope Pac is able to balance the realities of his life against the realities of his loss, and realise all is still well. That will be an important piece for him to be able to retire. Because its the fighters who cant do that, that find themselves in boxing for far too long.... ala Roy Jones.

    I still have my doubts he will retire. Almost think there's a better chance Juan Marquez will retire.

    Man, you have a shallow point of view.

    Pac or any other champ will not go far if they have the same mind set as you do.

    These fighters have emotions too and to lose the way Pac did in the biggest stage would be hard for any fighter.

    So what was your reaction when Chris Arreola was sobbing during his interview after he got beat up by Vitali?
