Some pino guy i work with keeps on telling me Pac is going to participate and fight in hopes of getting a medal for his country. Is this true? I dont think pros could box in the olypics but he told me somthing about how the pro basketball players do and this and that, can anyone shed some light on this.

Well, trust me, Pacquiao isn't competing. It's completely against AIBA rules and he's definitely not on the list of boxers; because he's a professional with 40 some fights.

That's true but you don't need to be a participating athlete to be flag bearer, Alexis Argüello was flag bearer for Nicaragua. Professional boxers are not allowed to participate in any AIBA tournament, that's all there is.
