    wow a lot of time i here mayweather say that pacquiao came out of nowhere
    just today i saw a pacquiao fight that was under the tyson-holyfeild fight in 2002
    does anyone remember this? what where the thought on Pacquiao

    He came out of nowhere by beating the Mexican trio in the lower weights. Also, Floyd was cheering for Pac during that time. Floyd was once a *******. Lol

    Where was pacquiao in 97? 98? 99? 2000? 01? Where was Hopkins in 91? 92? 95? Where was Julio Cesar Chavez in 80? 81? 82? 84? What the fck does it matter where you are in a certain year? I hate that look on Floyd's face, like he just proved something, and his fans blindly follow. If I'm not mistaken, Pac won his first title in 98, just like Floyd. Manny wasn't some cab driver who came around a stopped Oscar De La Hoya. He's been a major player since at least 2001, which is also when Floyd got his best victory (Corrales), so they developed at about the same rate, IMO.

    The real question we need to ask is where was floyd in 08? When the welterweight division was on fire?
