JUST MAKE THE FIGHT HAPPEN! Like last time....the fight didn't go through b/c of something that was on Floyd's end. Olympic style testing.... this round as I expected and predicted would be stalled, delayed..KILLED based on the split...anther obstacle Floyd has created that could kill the fight completely.

50/50 is fair. Both are the top draw of the sport in different ways. Floyd based on US PPV #'s and as a whole Manny is the FACE of boxing world wide. While I don't necessarily fault Floyd for requesting the lions share I think it's foolish and "TELLING" should he pass up the fight b/c he wants 50/50 after Manny has agreed to the original stall of the fight...the testing demands.

If its not one thing....it's anther with this drama!:-(

Here's why 50/50 is necessary. This is potentially the biggest fight in boxing history. Both guys are bringing in equal share of the PPV buys. If Floyd was fighting Berto or Cotto, a bigger split of the purse would make sense, but this is the biggest fight ever. 50/50 is the way it should be, end of story.

Pacquiao agreed to 14 days, 3 weeks after Floyd CLEARLY said he wanted it up until the day of the fight?

You are talking about 5 years ago and I see where you are coming from, but, fact is, Floyd accepted the tougher competition at the moment. Even when Freddie Roach said that Floyd wouldn't fight Mosley and even worse when he and Pac turned down a fight with Shane because he was "too good" at 147. Floyd took the challenge, he didn't duck.

This fight was almost done a couple of months ago and Pac turned it DOWN. It pisses me off that people still say it's Floyd's fault and say that he is making ridiculous demands when he only asked for OSDT during the first negotiations while Pac demanded 8oz gloves, 50-50, and overweight penalties and Floyd said OK.

Pac agreeing on 60/40 for Floyd is like both fighters getting 50/50, then Floyd says to Manny, "You want me to sign the contract? Pay me $10 million out of your own pocket".

Shame Pacquiao doesn't seem to be prepared to negotiate, they could probably get the fight made for 55/45 or 52/48.

Even if I were to concede the points you made here, which I don't. I think your claims here are very dubious to say the least, but let's say I conceded your points about Pac and Mosley and whose fault and all that.
There was still Miguel Cotto, Paul Williams and Andre Berto, who all would've been a tougher challenge than a 38-year old, five loss Mosley. And before that, he also could've fought any of those three, or Clottey, or Angulo, or Collazo or any number of people that would've been much tougher than a 35-year old featherweight.

Floyd ducks tough competition. Has since 2002. He was a great lightweight champion. He took on, and beat the best. I'm not of the camp that says he lost to Castillo. It was a competitive fight, but I thought he earned the decision. But since moving past 135, he hasn't done anything to warrant p4p or ATG status.
