It's sad that there's no boxers in "The 50 highest-earning American athletes". :|

"In all, the 2011 list features 19 NBA players, 17 baseball players, eight NFL players, three NASCAR drivers and three golfers."

American boxers not doing well? :|

I thought it would be ronaldo or messi.
Nadal deserves to be higher as well.
Its amazing that pacquiao is number 2 on a list like that.

IMO, if the Mayweathers didn't defamed Pacquiao with the PEDs accusations, Pacquiao could be no. 1 on that list with maybe $70 million earnings.

The Mayweathers could pay a heavy price if they loses the defamation lawsuit.

Why do you think those accusations affected his earnings, only thing that happened is more talk and a small group questioning his accomplishments were natural or not, but in the end it didnt seem to affect him getting all sort of deals and making big money in fights.

I think some bigtime potential sponsors were holding up until the PED issue on Pacquiao is cleared. I'm sure this accusations did some damage to PAC's image. Someone has to pay for the damages done.
