END THREAD. Theres no debate about it. Numbers don't lie unless quoted by Bob Arum.

I have to disagree with this also. Popularity is a neutral word. Pacquiao has more positive popularity but Floyd has it on a more full spectrum hence why even his haters pay to see him lose.

Thats what i was talking about.

when i said more popular i meant that Pac is the more liked of the two.

When it comes to who's the most recognizable of the two i would say its a toss up either way.

PPV's so far its Floyd cant argue with the numbers.

Damn! PACTADS or not.....that kind of scene is very telling given this footage was NOT in the Philipines. I havn't seen any boxer since Tyson or maybe DLH that pulled in that kind of crowd just returning home. Floyd still holds an advantage over PAC in PPV #'s but If I had to bet I bet there were more fans of PAC in the US than Floyd. Floyd just has the ability to get not only fans but haters who are willing to pay to see him lose. Still impressive....but I don't know many people who would be really happy about that kind of fact. Floyd doesn't even seem that happy about it.....more spiteful.

Floyd isn't exactly making it easy to be a fan of his. Pac seems like a great guy, with a big heart and talent. He is boxings superstar, no wonder.

Okay, I get the point. Floyd is wonderful, the greatest fighter of all time, and is wildly popular.
And now may I just add, Koki Kameda?

Floyd will never get 1/100th of that kind of adoration and love from fans. Floyd doesn't have 1/100th of the # of fans Pacquiao has.

This is the different between a real authentic humble superstar - and a phony arrogant manufactured pretender.
