I'll take a guy who cherrypicks 3-4 times a year over a guy who only does it once a year :good

Well...hindsight is 20/20. So, Pac gets a lot less credit than he would've (from me) based on Oscar's inability to, actually, compete in that fight--because he was so, visibly, depleted. Freddie also knew, prior to the fight, Oscar's limitations against smaller, faster fighters, and that he could no longer pull the trigger. And he said as much, based on first hand experience with Oscar. Pac did what he was supposed to do, as a fighter...beat an ill-conditioned, basically shot, opponent from pillar to post.

But, if the Oscar victory was supposed to be such a great win, like some like to claim it is, bringing a 'lesser' fighter (Cotto) down in weight, is uncalled for, IMO. In fact, it makes the Oscar win seem a lot less credible, because, the perception before the fight was that Oscar was WAY too big and too much for Pac. But, then they follow that up (2 fights later), by bringing a smaller fighter (than Oscar) who is a natural WW, and had already shown clear vulnerabilities against Margarito and Clottey, down to a C/W, after beating a bigger, supposedly, more dangerous fighter at the WW limit.

I didn't say Clottey was "not acceptable". I said fighting him at 147 does not make the Cotto C/W situation any more acceptable, in my view.

Keyword: some. Not everyone. I think even *******s knew that the Oscar that fought Pac was past his prime. How was Cotto a lesser fighter? If you're talking about prime-for-prime, yes. But at that time (2008-2009), Cotto was the better opponent. Cotto looked much better against Pac. There are other ways to criticize Pac, but I think nitpicking one pound is just criticizing for the sake of criticizing. Whatever, though. Like you said, I can't change your mind.

It wasn't the pound. It was the principle behind the pound (as I've explained in previous posts), which I don't appreciate. But, we can agree to disagree.

Pac picks Void for his next fight, but Void, once again, runs away and hides like the coward woman beater he really is. So, what do you call picking Void as an opponent?!

    Nice try buddy . . . . :D

. . . but you see you failed to realize a very simple fact . . . or maybe you intentionally ignore it (????)

. . . Pacquiao fought bigger opponents :deal fighters who were not in his comfort weight class. And you call that cherry picking? :rofl

I adore the speed and the accuracy of PBF's punches with his unbreakable defenses but he just lack the heart of a LION or a true warrior in the ring because he is so obsessed with his undefeated king of P4P record that seems to rotten his credibility into oblivion...:hi:
