I dont know about you but i'm not selling myself short for nobody or no got dayum fans either....if i feel i deserve more and there is eveidence i deserve more....then im asking for more...50/50 my ass.... On another note...60/40 IF they even asked for that seeing as i have yet to see a source where it QUOTES anyone from Mayweathers camp saying they asked for 60/40...if they did 60/40 even though still Pac's BIGGEST payday ever...that still is a low ball percentage. Me personally fair is 55/45 in this instance...like it or not Floyd is the bigger draw for whatever reason...he is...but its not by a land slide though...so i see no reason why 55/45 isnt an agreeable percentage. But again NO ONE KNOWS what Floyd asked for so i dont undersatand why people are running with this.
lol dood where you getting all these sketches? You just drawing them on the fly and scanning them? lol
Back in February Mayweather said he would no longer accept a 50/50 split and wanted testing up until the fight. Which is ironic that certain fans acting like Mayweather hasn't been saying this all along. http://www.mlive.com/mayweather/index.ssf/2010/02/floyd_mayweather_still_wonders.html While he didn't say 5 or 10 % or million he could be talking about percentages. I think fight will be made anywhere in between 55-60 for Mayweather and 40-45 for Pac. Anything else does not make sense. Mayweather is the bigger draw and holds the record for most PPV per fight as well as the top 2 PPVs all time. With this fight will make it top 3. Facts are facts. He proved he can outsell and make more money than Pacquiao without Pacquiao. Pac made an estimated 15mil while Mayweather made an estimated 40mil. I want to see this fight so Mayweather can put a deafening silence to the crowds when he dominates Pac, but I would understand his position on not budging to get the lion's share of the pie. Who will Pac fight next to make a big draw? At the very least Mayweather can still tango with Martinez.
Ah yes, politics, the one field where altruism and selflessness can be found. Oh, wait, no, I'm sorry, I'm thinking of corruption and egotism. But I'm sure Manny has no problems with either of those things.
omigod, was serious lamer.... Obviously you havent watched any Pacquiao fights, how he interacts with the opponent, how he interacts with the common people. This guy's boxings biggest class act. Some kind of mystery to why he's called The People's Champ. Have you EVER listened to a Pacquiao postfight interview, concerning his beaten opponent? Ignorant people just need to shut their gob (got so annoyed i turned english)
Woah! Careful where you sling words like "lamer", you might hurt someone's feelings. If they are in junior high and overly sensitive. I have, actually. So, yeah. That's gotta be embarassing for you. Try again? "The common people"? Really? That sounded good in your head? I don't know about that. I think that Miguel Cotto or Shane Mosley are at the very least just as classy as Manny. He's called "The People's Champ" because he is the only person from his entire country who has had any kind of success in the West. It wouldn't really matter what he does, people would freak out over there because it's the Philippines, who else are you going to admire? Got so annoyed you turned inarticulate? How surprising.
thankyou for your passive aggressive, holier than thou, narcissistic, dissection of my remark. Great, one of these "dissecting and over-analyzing of every word/remark games to show everyone that im really not secure with myself but i'll hide behind a non-emotional factual presentation of my matter-of-factness" type of person.... And just fyi - Lamer wasnt used in an attempt to get an emotional response out of you.... that would be just a lame attempt lol. Typing out "****ing Tardass" would fulfill that purpose for the average person, but really just not needed nor intended. It was my personal expletive, so you cant take it for yourself, ya egotistic gnard! I happen to be of polynesian descent, so he IS a People's Champion to me. What now!? Dont other countries gather around their heroes like.... Andre Ward? So really how valid is that statement? So they are of a smaller country - you sound pretty discriminatory based on sheer population. So because a country's population is smaller than another, they mean less w/ the praise of their hero? Your original statement towards Pacquiao and politics bends towards negativity and skepticism, and yet you say you've seen his postfight interviews and his views on his opponents. And its safe to say that he is one of the most humblest fighter you'll ever see, this is common knowledge. Yet this humble fighter looks to serve the people through government is looked down in negativity and skepticism? Or are you going to twist back your original intentions of your statement? Who's embarrassed then, cuz seems like what you see and what you say is in conflict with each other.... assuming what you see of him is positive lol I admit that Miguel Cotto and Shane Mosley are also humble fighters, **** i can list alot more too! IMHO, Manny Pacquiao is the humblest of fighters. Umm, take in mind this is based on subjective opinion, not factual, so im not sure why you even tried to counter by mentioning their names at all... and why did i ended w/ leaving with the last statement? Cuz i can afford to be self-depricating, unlike some insecure, dissecting poster lol
To be honest, I think that my tone could be more accurately described as snide than passive-aggressive. But whatever works for you So you don't want people to pay attention to the words you use in discussions? That seems fairly anti-social. So I'm not secure with myself and I'm egotistical. Wow, you clearly have a solid grasp of psychology and understand what you are talking about. That or I'm thinking of someone else. Anyone else. That's fascinating. Really, please continue talking about your ethnicity. I dunno, cry quietly to myself while listening to Linkin Park songs? Could be. Very. And you just supported it. That's really a sad assumption to make. I didn't say that either the Philippines or the people from there are of less worth than other people. Which makes me wonder if you jump to the "discrimination" tactic often. No. Yeah. Fascinating. Yes. It is. I dunno, which would you prefer? Whim? That was self deprecating? Oh, well then you are very good at making self-deprecating look like unoriginality.
