    Pacquiao 16th fight was against Gala who had only ever won one fight. infact going into the Pacquiao fight he had lost 9 in a row.
    Fight number 17 for Pacquiao was against Sung-Yul Lee who had fought twice and lost twice, Pacquiao continued to fight average opposition before getting a WBC title shot which he won he then lost the title trying to defend it for the second time, he then goes on a run of winning the WBC international super bantemweight title six times in a row, i believe this is a stepping stone title for boxers outside the top 10.
    Pacquiao has fought 11 times for full World titles against 15 times for stepping stone titles, considering this guy is ranked no1 P4P by 'Ring' i think his resume is very weak, far weaker than Joe Calzaghe's, Calzaghe should be the current P4P number 1 ? {Pacquiao has 3 losses and 2 draws on his record against Calzaghe's perfect 0}

    So TS, do tell why everyone should put JC on top of the rankings? Enlighten us all and give us a "valid reason"

    so by placing joe at #1, we would have a strong p4p king?
    and i think that you are not so sure yourself cause you even put a question mark when you stated calzaghe should be #1.

    1st off everyone fights shitty fighters at 1st and 2 wins against MAB with 1 ko win over him and the wins over Morales (2-1) with 2 ko wins and the win against JMM overshadow JC's best wins in Lacy and Kessler who arent that great where as MAB and Morales are already Modern day greats then add in that Manny has held belts from flyweight to lightweight he is what the term P4P means he can win at any weight and JC has won belts at SMW and LHW so Mannys resume is miles and miles better

    :lol: CLOWN! Part time boxing fans show their true colors everytime they post. Get a ****ing grip man. Joe deserved to be #2. Even with a mediocre start to his career when he became pro at 16, Pac has done FAR more than JOE in terms of Quality of opposition, consistancy with fighting the best and more dominating in his defenses....not to mention PAC moved up 6 or 7 weight classes.:hi:

    JOe deserves credit but his wins should be held with some form of perspective...no one said Berbick was the "GREATEST" after he won a UD against Ali....and no one should say Joe is the best LHW b/c he beat an old version of Roy. And I am a fan of Joe.

    You have your own opinion. Cal is number 1 in my book because he beat prime opposition in recent fights along with a pfp fighter who is still on top of his game. Pac is/was fighting H.O.F NAME fighters who were past it with the exception of Juan Marquez. Pac beat Diaz, and is now fighting 35 year old Dlh. That is not enough for me to vote him the best fighter in the world. Cal has never lost, and in my rankings he is tops pfp until Floyd comes back lol.
