Pac has done nothing to show he should be ranked higher than Cal, nor does he even have a better style than Calzaghe. He does nothing better than Cal, and PAc moved up because he was ko'd twice in 3 rounds at that weight. Call it a weight problem, but two times ko'd in 3 rounds? Yeah, he moved up in weight, but he didn't fight at 115 and 118. he went to 122. Yeah, he has done well at 122, 126, and 130. Don't even count the 135 fight with Diaz lol. That was like Roy beating Ruiz lol... If Roy didn't get credit, why should Pac right?
He has been fighting money fights with the big 3, 7 times, fought a bum in Diaz, and now another money fight with Dlh who has not title. You PAc fans think he has little to no chance to beat Dlh, and you call PAc the best pfp fighter in the world??? Imagine that...the best fighter pfp in the world, and he has little to no chance to beat a 35 year old Dlh coming down to his lowest weight in 8 years lol...
Cal beat PRIME opposition names yes but during their twilight years in boxing. BHOPKINS is 43 years old Seven years from NOW bhop is half a century old :hey yes, that's the guy tha cal beat! :dead RJJ is 38 years old DLH is 35 yrs old Nallage, check the ages before you bash people so you would not look stupid again:hi: :hi:
LOWEST WEIGHTIN 8 YEARS?! PAC never WEIGHED THAT MUCH DURING A FIGHT OF ALL HIS CAREER !!!! WRONG ARGUEMENT AGAIN!!! that is why CATCH WEIGHT IS INVENTED :hi: :hi:
I'm not even a super PacMan fan like that, but even I have to disagree with this thread starters statement. Pac is a weak p4p? LMAO! Even though I feel he lost to JMM twice, I still know that he is a real, strong p4p champ!
Styles have nothing to do with the Depth and substance on a pro boxers resume. The P4P ranks are based on who you fight, how much you dominate and how well you can move between weight classes and still win or dominate. PAC moved up in weight b/c when he started out he was a boy competing in a mans game. At 16 PAC was less than 100 lbs and began his pro career. Getting KO'd at 16 and 17 yrs old in a sport like boxing isn't reason to bring up the past and critique given the surronding circumstances. The Diaz win was a legit win as was Jones and JT beating the WBA heavyweight champion at the time in Ruiz. It's easy to brush off a signifigant win like that when you are clearly biased and eager to make a point....unfortunately your point has no validity. PAC beating Diaz is a nice win....not his biggest but very good. It was against a bigger man and the champion at the time. Had Pac edged Diaz then one could question his ability and his "HYPE"....but PAC DOMINATED Diaz completely in what was one of the most one sided beat downs I've ever witnessed. BTW Roy got credit fore being the only LHW to grab a portion of the HW crown in over 100 yrs.
It all comes down to a GREAT BIG MAN vs a GREAT SMALL MAN. JOe would beat Floyd Mayeather...they are similar in most areas but Size does play a role in fights like these where smaller men go up to face bigger men. PAC has a chance but logically speaking it's unlikely for PAC to pull off the "W" unless we are under estimating how great PAC really is........That would be like JOe going up to HW and fighting one of the Champions...he'd loose based on size...With that said Joe has a better shot than any other present LHW to do what Jones did to make history, but I doubt anyone can match what Jones did 5 yrs ago.
Nallege is spelled with an "e" ok? I don't even count the Jones fight. You can't even be trying to dis Hop...lol. Cal fought Jones for the money and Hop for his titles, and never asked either man to come down to their lowest weight in 8 years.
The facts are Dlh is coming down to his lowest weight in 8 years and is 35 years old. Pac is coming in as the best fighter pfp, and is not fighting a prime fighter, but possibly a still very good fighter in Dlh, with no title on the line.
