Not at all. He is jumping 2 weight divisions to meet DLH, same thing Calzaghe would be doing. Sure there's a bigger weight gap but there always is in the higher weight classes. They would both be facing roughly the same height disadvantage too.

calzaghe is a 168 fighter, vitali weighed in at 247 for his last fight thats only a 79 pound difference, vitali is pretty much 6'8 and joe is between 5'11 and 6 foot so a good 8 inch's compared to oscar being 4 inch's taller than many. Your comparison is very inaccurate.

Point is Nallege is saying that pac is fighting oldies..he is however SILENT that Calz fought somebody who is already in their TWILIGHT of their careers..

    Bhop 43 years old!
RJJ is younger than Bhop at 38 but probably more than good enough to retire..

Just ans Nallage is just a pure pac hater:D

I never said pac isn't fightin old guys what i'm trying to explain is that it was nallage who mentioned that pac is fighting oldies but did not realized that calz himself fought oldies who is old enough to retire.

    get it?!

you don't get the fact that calzaghe is an old guy so him fighting someone like roy who is pretty muh the same age isn't really an age gap at all.

I respect your OPINION but believing RJJ is still the old self of the early 2000's?! You are kidding yourself.

As like many others fans would say..other boxers fade earlier than the others...

Like I said a win is a win but critics would be silent if the win was made in their peak of their careers not on their LAST FIGHT OF THEIR CAREER.

A clear example the win of RJJ years ago over BHOP is more meaningful
than if Bhop wins over RJJ today?! Get it!?!

    Well.. OK! ;)

I have high respects for CAlz. It's just too bad that the decision for him to fight outside Europe came out a bit too late in his career!

What the heck! 46-0 is still an impressive record :good

As usual. A thread to overrate Calzaghe and downplay Pac utterly fails yet again. Good Job ESB.

I don't agree with the comparison basically. I think a better comparison would be Joe Calzaghe going up and fighting David Haye at CW. So yes, I agree with you on that.

However you have to admit that there are ALOT more stupid stuff said in this thread for Joe than Pac.
