I don't know what fights you've been watching but the only time Cotto was "knocked down" was against Ricardo Torres and it was a push that sent Cotto down, not an actual punch... Ricardo Torres aint no chump either, the man can hit.

Staggered and being knocked down are two separate things...Cotto was weight drained back then anyways. He handled Mosley's bombs quite well.

Does it really matter? Like I said, Cotto fighting at Jr. Welterweight was bad for him. Besides, everytime Cotto has been hurt he always comes back to KO or TKO whoever he's fighting

honestly, would anyone have complained if the ref stopped cotto by TKO in the second round of the torres fight?

he didn't, and cotto made the most of it. but some of us would call that 'luck' that it wasn't stopped.

Sorry, it will be Manny Pacquiao that will absolutely slaughter Edwin Valero in one round. The difference in skill level is all too apparent for those who are unbiased.
