are you therefore expecting pac to be able to KO shane? if that happens, i will give pac some credit since shane has a very solid chin and hasn't been KO'd yet.

but i do think that this fight will last the full 12 rounds with pac taking a very wide and dominating UD. shane does have a good puncher's chance here in the first half of the fight due to the compatibility of their styles which he didn't have in the mayweather and mora fights.

Although Shane was a much better and effective fighter in his prime (Oscar I) i do think hes hitting harder as hes gotten older... Most guys he kod back in the day were thru accumalation.. He hits harder for one punch now.

yeah he does. I think he should work the body, but who knows how good his stamina will be. I hope this is not a case of Shane having a few rounds to land the big punch and then going into a shell like he did for Mayweather. If he is in the fight the whole time working the body and getting Pacman to the ropes, he can possibly win. Fighters abandon the body punches nowadays.

absolutely Pacman can stop Shane. He takes more chances than Floyd, which leaves him open more, but Manny seems to thrive on landing and taking punches. If Pacman has Shane in the shell which Mayweather did, I think he will stop him. In this fight I am a believer in Shane being able to turn the fight around with bodypunches.

He is also hours away from a big night of Kareoke after the fight. Virtually unbeatable when they throw that in his itinerary

Mosley has a lot more power than a nonplaster Margarito but his right hook is much too looping and his left won't land that well against a Southpaw. So his chances are very slim.
On the other side, he did catch Floyd.
Mosley will gas in this fight I guess.

That's what they all said about Pac. Five years ago, DLH by murder... Cotto by murder... Clottey by murder, etc. If you would have posted something then like "Pac beats Hatton", or "Pac can beat Marg" you would get banned by the boards true story.

Exactly. Pacquiao thrives on dishing out punishment and taking punches, but taking punches from Mosley is not a good idea. Pacquiao has to respect the power of Mosley, or he runs the risk of being knocked out. One of those looping punches from Mosley and it's 'lights out'. One solid shot can change this fight for Mosley!

I disagree. I think he does. This was evident a year ago when Margarito hurt him with a body shot in the 6th round. For the entire round, Pac was running in circles in the entire ring trying to avoid Margarito.

How many people thought something similar before Pacquiao fought Cotto?

Shane doesn't knock anyone out with one or a few punches. He can stop an opponent if he outlands him over many rounds, using his speed. He may land a few hard shots on Pacquiao, like Cotto did, Manny will trade and will land more shots in the exchanges. To mention ring IQ as a disadvantage against Shane is a little strange, Shane is a great natural athlete but has one of the lowest ring IQ's out there. Manny will have the advantage in speed and timing in this fight, what is Shane going to do about that?

OP - "Never underestimate a future HOF."

Couldn't have said it better. Not since Marquez has he fought a HOF who seems legitimately prepared for a fight.

I'm usually pretty good in picking a fight, my opinion, Pac better not get caught flush by a hard right hook or it's Sayonara.
